Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
This is one of my favorite events at Walt Disney World! My wife and I try to go at least every other year. I love the World Showcase at EPCOT anyway because it reminds me of many of the places I’ve traveled to in the Military.
During the Food and Wine Festival all of the permanent countries around the World Showcase Lagoon as well as many other countries set up outdoor booths around the lagoon. The booths feature sample sized portions of food and wines/beers from their country for prices of $2-$7. It’s fun to slowly walk around trying the different food and drink taking time to "stop and smell the roses". Instead of rushing around from attraction to attraction worrying about fastpasses we just slow it down and take in all the little details of EPCOT's World Showcase
Also during the Festival they offer many free seminars about food or wine. There are also many events that cost extra, such as dinners and wine pairing events.
