For 2009 Disney is bringing back the popular Armed Forces Salute. Starting 4 January and running through 23 December military members may obtain one complimentary 5-day Disney's Armed Forces Salute ticket with Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & More options. These tickets may be obtained at your base's ITT Office, Shades of Green, or Disney World theme park ticket counters.

Military members may also purchase up to five each 5-day basic tickets for family or friends for $99 per ticket. These tickets do not include the Park Hopper or Water Park and More options. Each of these options may be purchased for an additional $25 per option on top of the basic ticket price. This ticket would normaly be $218 through Shades of Green and the options would be an extra $49 each.

Also for most nights during this time frame Disney is offering members 40% off select Disney Moderate Resort Hotel rates. Discount not available 2/13-2/15, 4/4-4/18, 5/22-5/24, 7/3-7/4, 11/25-11/26. If you are not interested in a Moderate they say to ask about special rates on other Disney Hotels i.e. Value, Deluxe, and Deluxe Villa.

A similar offer is also available for Disneyland in California.

Eligibility:

Active or retired members of the U.S. military, Activated members of the National Guard or Reservists (with orders showing active status after January 1, 2008), and active or retired members of the United States Coast Guard.
