Without a doubt the best benefit the military has when visiting Disney World in Orlando is the Shades of Green! It is one of the Armed Forces Recreation Centers operated worldwide for the benifit of military members.

Another great way to save on your stay is through the Armed Forces Vacation Club. If you don't mind staying off Disney property you can stay at a local area condo for a super rate.

You can purchase discounted admission tickets through Shades of Green once you arrive at WDW or get them ahead of time at your local base Ticket/Travel Office

If you buy them ahead of time you can spread out your cost. Admission tickets to Disney remain valid until use. This is especially good if ticket prices go up after you purchase your tickets (you won't have to make up the difference). You can buy tickets way in advance and they are always good. We once bought multiday tickets with the no expiration option and used them for three years!
