Shades of Green Bus Transportation
A great benefit to staying at Shades of Green is the complimentary bus transportation to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Shades of Green buses run throughout the day on a seasonal schedule. ADA options include ramps and lifts for certain designated routes. Shuttles and transportation to other areas around Central Florida are available at an additional charge.

Animal Kingdom/Blizzard Beach: Once per hour
Leaves Shades of Green on the half hour (starting at 0830)
Leaves Animal Kingdom at 10 minutes before the hour (Space #7 in charter bus area at 0850)
Leaves Blizzard Beach on the hour (Space #1 in bus area at 1000)
Hollywood Studios: Once per hour
Leave Shades of Green on the half hour (starting at 0830)
Leaves Hollywood Studios on the hour (Space C6 in the Charter Area at 0900)
Downtown Disney/Typhoon Lagoon: Once per hour
Leaves Shades of Green on the half hour (starting at 0830)
Leaves Typhoon Lagoon at 10 till the hour (Space #9 from 0950)
Leaves Downtown Disney on the hour (at the top of lot E by the burnt orange building)
Transportation and Ticket Center: Every 20 minutes
First bus leaves Shades of Green at 0830
Bus leaves Transportation and Ticket Center starting at 0840
From the Transportation and Ticket Center you can take a monorail to the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT, or board Disney World transportation busses for destinations all over the resort.
Walt Disney World Transportation System
Shades of Green guests have access to the Walt Disney Transportation System which includes: monorail, ferry boat and bus transportation all over Disney World property.
Walking
Shades of Green is located within walking distance of Disney's Polynesian Resort. It's about a ten or fifteen minute walk. From there you can take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom, the Transportation and Ticket Center (to transfer to the EPCOT monorail or WDW busses to other destinations), or visit other Magic Kingdom Resorts. Parking
Shades of Green has a large parking garage and there is a $5.00 fee per day for it's use. Parking at the Theme Parks is free for Shades of Green Guests.
Car Rental
Hertz Car Rental has a kiosk conveniently located in the Shades of Green lobby.
Disney's Monorail
Disney's Polynesian resort and it's Monorail station is a short walk from Shades of Green.
BAGS (Baggage Airline Guest Services) is a remote airline check-in service allowing airline passengers to check their luggage and receive their boarding passes from the hotel lobby. Visit the Bell stand for price, instructions, and times. Participating airlines: American, Jet Blue, Alaska, Northwest, Air Tran, Continental, Delta, United, and US Airways.
