Military Discounted Tickets
Your Base Information Travel and Ticket Office
Many bases have a Ticket/Travel Office where you can purchase Disney World tickets.
They are usually very comparable in price to Shades of Green ticket prices (sometimes within cents). There can be both advantages and drawbacks with buying your tickets on base prior to departure.The advantage is buying the tickets ahead of time, you could buy them well ahead to spread out the cost of the whole trip or buy your tickets prior to an advertised price increase.
The drawbacks are that often they have a limited selection of tickets i.e. number of days (sometimes they can special order what you'd like). If you are leaving soon and want tickets they don't carry you'll have to get them when you get there. Also Stars and Stripes Passes are not available.
Don't have a Base Ticket Office Nearby?
Some military installations or National Guard locations don't have a ticket office. If you are in this situation there are other options.
For Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and LEGOLAND in Orlando Florida, you can purchase tickets at both Shades of Green and the Orlando ITT Office (see below).
For Disneyland, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and LEGOLAND in California, you can use these ticket offices:
Los Angeles AFB, FSS though the ITT Office
Camp Pendelton, Oceanside, CA
Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu/Port Hueneme, CA
You can also purchase your Disneyland tickets over the phone. Simply contact Commander, Navy Region, Southwest at (619) 767-6000. Your tickets will arrive via the U.S. mail within 7 business days. Overnight service is available for a nominal fee.
Orlando ITT Office
While the Orlando Navy Training Center has long been gone, the ITT Office is located in the Navy Exchange at the Navy Annex is at Orlando International Airport.

The Orlando ITT Office has an extensive selection of Orlando area military discounted tickets.
This may be a good option for those arriving at the Orlando airport who are heading to Universal and not going to Shades of Green or Disney World.
