I was told that I can only make one single purchase of the Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets, Is that Correct?
Absolutely Not True!
You may make as many separate Salute ticket purchases as you’d like during each Disney Armed Forces Salute Offer Period (up to the individual offer ticket limit).
There was a very brief period that Disney introduced this short lived rule. Back in October 2010 when the 2010 – 2011 Disney Armed Forces Salute was announced Disney included a new twist in their ticket rules:
No more than six (6) Disney Military Promotional Tickets may be purchased and (if applicable) activated by any Eligible Service Member or spouse (regardless of the place of purchase and whether purchased by that person or that person’s spouse), and all six (6) must be purchased at the same time.”
This silly rule did not last more than 2 weeks!
Disney canned it as soon as I pointed out that they were discouraging repeat visits by those who didn’t need all 6 tickets at once.
Unfortunately the contract that was negotiated with the MWR community for that particular Salute Offer had this language in it and most Base Ticket Offices stuck to this contractual obligation (one single purchase per member) during the whole year-long offer (and into the next offer).
