The military member may also purchase discounted tickets for their family and friends, but they must do this ahead of time at their Base Ticket Office.

LEGOLAND Theme Park Military Discounts These tickets can be purchased on base at up to 45% off depending on how much of the savings your base ticket office passes on to you.

Legoland is a modern theme park with all sorts of fun things to do. There are roller coasters, rides, movies and shows, and fantastic sculptures made out of LEGOS (see the Space Shuttle below). Legoland is divided into “Lands” just like other theme parks, with names like LEGO® City, Duplo Village, and Imagination Zone. Legoland has it’s own attached water park.

Legoland was built on the grounds of one of Florida’s original tourist attractions, Cypress Gardens. The original Cypress Gardens Botanical Gardens are still there for you to tour. There is even a LEGO Southern Belle. Real life Southern Belle’s were the “Characters” in the original Cypress Gardens.

“We are pleased to continue our Military Appreciation Days. This is a great way for LEGOLAND Florida to say thank you for the selfless service our military men and women provide every day throughout the year,” said Kim Isemann, director of sales and marketing at LEGOLAND Florida.

      Not currently Karen.

Last year they did extend the free ticket program to all veterans in November for Veteran’s Day. And you can still buy discounted tickets at your base ticket office or the Orland ITT.

It is good to hear of these discounts for active duty. I am retired and due to my type of service in the Army I never had the time or money to take my kids. Now that I am retired after some 20 years of service I notice the theme parks offer nothing or next to nothing for a discount towards the retired. Why is that? It baffles all of us and yet no one seems to have an answer. Are the CEOs listening? This I hope will be brought to the table.

How does a family of 7 get into Sea world for free , it says that it’s for a family of four. My family is large how do we get in??

    • Heidi says

We recently went to SeaWorld in Williamsburg and at the ticket counter we registered for the four free tickets and then said we would need to buy a child ticket and the girl at the counter said hold on a minute. She went and got a supervisor who told us they could give larger families more free tickets. We have gone to the one in Orlando and had the same thing happen. It might be worth asking at the counter or calling the ticket counter to ask.
