Shades of Green the military resort on Walt Disney World property announced three new late Summer discounts. Two of theses are room only discounts and one is a room/ticket/breakfast package.
Shades Trying To Fill Rooms
These discounts are on varying dates from mid August through late September 2011.
These varied rates and limited dates indicate that Shades is trying to fill holes that they have in their reservations calendar for dates in the near future.

The $100 Room Rate Special - is available August 13-15, 20-26, & September 5-11.
Standard Room rates per night are:
- $90 for category 1 guests*
- $100 for category 2 guests*
- $110 for category 3 guests*

The Super Saver Internet Special – is available for stays August 27 through 1 September.
These web only Standard Room rates per night are:
- $69 for category 1 guests*
- $79 for category 2 guests*
- $89 for category 3 guests*

The Single Soldier Special – is a package available August 20 through September 20 Now available January and February 2012 except 5-7 Jauary.
This package is available for active duty category 1 guests (E1-E5) only.
The package for 3 nights and 4 days includes Three nights in a standard room, Disney 4-Day promotional tickets (a $138 value per ticket), and 3 breakfast buffets at the Garden Gallery Restaurant (a $32.85 value per person).
The price for this package is $279 each for double occupancy, that’s $558 total and $399 single occupancy.

Category 2 guests are E6-E9,O1-O3,100% Disabled Veterans, Widows, & Medal of Honor Recipients
