Shades of Green's Walt Disney World Bus Stops
This page will show you the locations of the various Shades of Green bus stops at the Disney World theme parks.
They are not in the same place as Disney's, they are further away and they are mostly uncovered!
Shades of Green offers free bus transportation for their guests to several locations on Walt Disney World property.
There are 4 Bus Lines that run from the Shades bus stop located on the lower level at the front of the resort.
The 4 bus lines are:
- Transportation and Ticket Center (the Magic Kingdom & Epcot via monorail)
- Animal Kingdom and Blizzard Beach
- Hollywood Studios
- Downtown Disney & Typhoon Lagoon
The Transportation and Ticket Center line runs every 20 minutes, while the rest run hourly. See the schedule.
Disney World's Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC)
The TTC was the original arrival location for the Magic Kingdom and then Epcot when it opened. Originally envisioned as the transportation hub for the "World" it still functions partially in that capacity.
Guests may obtain Disney bus service to all locations on property at the TTC as well as Monorail service to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot and Ferry Boat service to the Magic Kingdom.
Disney Resort buses used to drop their guests destined for the Magic Kingdom here, but as the number of resorts increased so did the volume of people and a bus stop closer to the Magic Kingdom was created. This stop is only for Disney resort guests, Shades of Green buses still arrive at the TTC.
The Shades of Green Bus Stop at the TTC is located out in the middle of this parking lot below.
Cross on the diagonal crosswalk to the center. The red poles indicate the various bus stops. There is no cover for rainy weather and a busy times you will need to line up at the stop.
The Shades of Green bus stop is the first one by the light pole.
This picture is from under the covered bus stops that Disney buses use (the Shades bus stop used to be here).
The picture is from the same spot looking towards the TTC.
This is the longest walk from the Shades Bus Stop to the theme park of all the bus lines.
Disney recently moved the Shades of Green bus stop at Animal Kingdom. It isn't any closer, just in a different area. The old area is in red and the new location in blue. There is a very small temporary tent-like cover like you'd put in your back yard to wait under. Twenty or so people can fit under it...
Disney's Hollywood Studios
THings have been in flux at Hollywood Studios for a year or so with masive construction in the parking lot/arrival area due to a new Disney bus terminal and the Skyliner station. Bus Stops keep shifting.
Pictures from the same spot, looking at the bus stop and then at the park entrance. (Old Info)
In this pic you can see the Disney buses in the distance, near the entrance.
