Here at Military Disney Tips we’ve been covering Disney Military Discounts and specifically the the Disney Armed Forces Salute Military Resort Rates since these discounted room rates first started in 2009. In face this site first started in 2007!

Previous Year’s Announcements

In 2016 Disney switched to offering the Disney Armed Forces Salute on a Calendar Year basis versus the old Disney Fiscal Year basis.

Since then Disney has announced the coming year’s Disney Armed Forces Salute in late September the year prior. For example 2020’s Salute was announced in September 2019.

However the 2020 shutdown threw a monkey wrench in this process! Nothing has been normal since then even the release of the new Salute offers.

I am however hopeful that this year Disney will be returning to normal.
