stronger.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quick answer:<\/strong> Pixar Place Hotel is the least expensive Disney-owned hotel and gives you the Disney bubble at the lowest price. Disneyland Hotel costs more but offers a major upgrade in atmosphere, dining, pools, and location. It is about staying in the <strong>Disney bubble<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve stayed both on property and off at Disneyland.<\/p>\n<p>Off-property hotels can work very well, and they can save you a lot of money. It is one eligible attraction entry for each registered hotel guest age 3 and older on the reservation.<\/p>\n<p>Hotel guests also receive preferred access to reservations at select Disneyland Resort hotel table-service restaurants during their stay.<\/p>\n<p>Other benefits include Disney-themed accommodations and pools, convenient park access, and access to resort activities and amenities.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Getting_to_the_Parks_From_the_Three_Disneyland_Resort_Hotels\"><\/span>Getting to the Parks From the Three Disneyland Resort Hotels<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>All three hotels are walkable, but the experience is not the same.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Main_Entrances\"><\/span>The Main Entrances<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>For your <strong>first visit<\/strong> to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, I recommend using the main entrances.<\/p>\n<p>There is something special about walking through the Esplanade and entering Disneyland beneath the railroad station or approaching Disney California Adventure through its main gate.<\/p>\n<p>After you&#8217;ve experienced those entrances, the alternate access points can be extremely useful.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Disneyland_Park_The_Downtown_Disney_Monorail\"><\/span>Disneyland Park: The Downtown Disney Monorail<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The Downtown Disney Monorail station serves as a practical secondary Disneyland Park entrance for guests at all three hotels.<\/p>\n<p>It is closest to Disneyland Hotel, almost as close to Grand Californian, and directly along the route Pixar Place guests use when walking toward the main entrances.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of entering Disneyland at Main Street, U.S.A., the Monorail drops you inside Tomorrowland.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Disney_California_Adventure_Grand_Californian_Entrance\"><\/span>Disney California Adventure: Grand Californian Entrance<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Disney&#8217;s Grand Californian Hotel &amp;
