      This site was started in 2008 with that intent. As the visibility and popularity of the site has grown, so have the costs of operating it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      As many people mistakenly think, nothing is “For Free” on the internet, or anywhere else in life. Someone is paying for it, either the provider is or the cost is passed on somehow.<\/p>\n

      MDT’s initial entry level costs of $165 per year have grown and grown to the high four digits, that is before any travel costs for research, which drives it well into the five digits.<\/p>\n

      Over the years we’ve had to upgrade to a pricey private server with our web host to handle the traffic growth, it now costs 13 times what we were paying for that particular expense before the switch in 2013. Our Newsletter service<\/a> charges by the number of people on the list, we now have over 13,000 people on the list! There are many other services that we pay for to bring you the information more efficiently.<\/p>\n

      We know ads aren’t the most welcome thing in the world… But they are necessary for us to keep this this site running for you!<\/strong><\/p>\n

      As I said above, nothing in this life is free, someone is paying for every “free” thing someone else gets. I pay to give out “free” information on this site and ads allow me to do that, just like the radio you listen to or live TV that you watch.<\/p>\n

      You will see various contextual ads on the site from Cafe Media\/AdThrive and other ad networks, these display ads that you might be interested in based on your browsing history or topic of the page you are on.<\/p>\n

      Other products and items that we recommend as an affiliate are absolutely the finest in our opinion and are all used or tried by MDT first.<\/p>\n

      I would appreciate it if you do not use Ad Blockers when browsing MDT! The ads pay for you to see our info! Using an ad blocker is a huge disservice tot he author!.<\/strong><\/p>\n
