The restaurant uses mosaic tile to bring some of that artistry to the foyer of the restaurant. Mind you, this is just the foyer. You MUST have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/blog\/disney-advance-dining-reservations-ultimate-guide\/\">reservation<\/a> in order to dine here. Also, do not expect your table to be ready exactly at your reservation time. Luckily, there is a large waiting room for guests to wait for their name to be called.<\/p>\n<p>That room is the Beast\u2019s study!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25471\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Armor.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Armor.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Armor-600x270.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Armor-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Armor-768x346.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To get there, you must walk down the hall with the suits of armor. This area is perhaps the most overlooked and underappreciated area. They talk! Yes, the suits of armor will talk amongst themselves, sneeze, and even say things to guests! I was near one who was trying to sweet talk me into running away with him! (Too bad my husband was with me\u2026 Kidding!)<\/p>\n<p>The Beast\u2019s study itself features his massive fireplace, luxurious heavy draperies, rich wood tones, and royal colors. It felt so authentic that I was just waiting for Chip and the footstool to run in!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dining_Rooms\"><\/span>Dining Rooms<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Be Our Guest is a restaurant that people go to for the ambience and design more than anything. Imagineers are akin to magicians. We had to remind ourselves that Beauty and the Beast was an animated film because we\u2019re pretty certain we were in the ballroom. The real ballroom!<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Grand_Ballroom\"><\/span>Grand Ballroom<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25457\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Dancing-Statue.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Dancing-Statue.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Dancing-Statue-600x270.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Dancing-Statue-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Dancing-Statue-768x346.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Close your eyes. Picture Belle and Beast dancing in the ballroom while Mrs. Potts sings \u201cTale As Old As Time\u201d. Remember the grand gold colors? The cherubs on the ceiling? And even the snow softly falling outside on a dark winter\u2019s night? Yup. It\u2019s all there. All of it.<\/p>\n<p>The Grand Ballroom has an immediate awe factor. It is opulent with rich golds and blues, and larger than life windows and tapestries. There are even multiple 5 layer chandeliers. Look up at the ceiling &#8211; You will even see the whole ceiling painted with the cherub babies.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25458\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Ceiling.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"321\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Ceiling.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Ceiling-600x241.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Ceiling-300x120.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Ceiling-768x308.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>FUN FACT: The cherub babies on the ceiling are actually the children of the imagineers who worked on the project!<\/p>\n<p>The most amazing feat that the imagineers have completed in the Grand Ballroom is that they managed to make it snow in Florida! Look out the windows! Whether it is noon or 3:00 in the afternoon, it will be dark outside and lightly snowing. You will even see the snow accumulate on the window sill!<\/p>\n<p>The Grand Ballroom is the largest of the dining rooms. We believe that if you have a big Beauty and the Beast fan, this is the MUST DO dining room.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_West_Wing\"><\/span>The West Wing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Remember, you can go anywhere in the castle\u2026 Except the West Wing! Why? It\u2019s forbidden! As the smallest dining room, guests in the West Wing will have a darker, more mysterious experience.<\/p>\n<p>There is a storm brewing outside, so if any of your friends or family are afraid of thunderstorms, just know that this room will hear rolls of thunder and see cracks of lightning.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25459\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Painting.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Painting.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Painting-600x270.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Painting-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-Painting-768x346.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Did you see that?! During a flash of lightning, the ripped portrait of the Beast as a prince transforms into the Beast!<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of ripped &#8211; The West Wing is the Beast\u2019s destroyed man cave area. The draperies are torn, there are spider webs, dark foreboding colors, and lots of candles. The draw of this room is the enchanted rose. You can see the magic rose glowing under its protective glass.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Rose_Room\"><\/span>The Rose Room<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25456\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-The-Rose.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-The-Rose.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-The-Rose-600x270.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-The-Rose-300x135.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Be-Our-Guest-The-Rose-768x346.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Rose Room was created by Imagineers as a third room and did not appear in the film. This room is a celebration of Belle and Beast\u2019s life together. The centerpiece of the room is a large music box of Belle and Beast made by Maurice, Belle\u2019s father, as a wedding present. The rest of the room is decorated with paintings of Belle and Beast and everyday life in the castle.<\/p>\n<p>While the room is beautiful, we wouldn\u2019t want to dine in here because it\u2019s not part of the film.<\/p>\n<p>PRO-TIP: You can request a dining room prior to seating. They cannot guarantee your request, of course, but if you are courteous to the Cast Member they will try everything to fulfill your request.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Food\"><\/span>The Food<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Be Our Guest is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/blog\/disney-dining\/the-various-types-of-disney-food-service\/\">prix fixe menu<\/a> that includes an appetizer, meal, and dessert for each guest. Pricing is $62 per adult and $37 for children 3-9. Children under 3 eat for free off of their parent\u2019s plates, however, they will provide infants and toddlers with complimentary macaroni and cheese!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Appetizers<\/strong><br \/>\nThe cuisine is a blend of classic French and American-style food. Their most popular appetizer is the French Onion soup, but we had the Duck and Pork Terrine, Escargot, and the Country Seasonal Salad, and we were very impressed right from the start. If you love garlic and butter, you might like these.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Entrees<\/strong><br \/>\nWhile there are many great options for entrees like pork, chicken, and fish, most people go for the filet mignon. Everyone at our table ordered a different temperature of meat and we\u2019re happy to say all of them were perfect! The meat is tender and almost able to be cut with a fork.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dessert<\/strong><br \/>\nEveryone at the table will receive a dessert trio, unless they would like the plant-based option. The trio contains the coveted item\u2026 It\u2019s the moment that all Beauty and the Beast fans have waited 30 years for. It\u2019s time to try the gray stuff! In addition to that, there is a rich dark chocolate truffle and lemon jam macaron. The years of waiting were worth it. The Gray Stuff was in fact, delicious, and was everyone\u2019s favorite item. Prep your kids about eating in a nice restaurant where the food is fancy and napkins are cloth.<\/p>\n<p>Be Our Guest is a very expensive dining experience, so we want you to know everything before you go!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Personal_Experience\"><\/span>Personal Experience<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>My 7 year old daughter is picky. Picky, as in I carry Nutella sandwiches in WDW, so here\u2019s our picky eater review.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Appetizer<\/strong><br \/>\nShe got the fruit and cheese plate. The grapes and two strawberries were gone in a second. But the cheese was not cheese that kids are used to. Naturally, the fries were gone quickly, and the beans were tasted and played with. The macaroni and cheese, however, was a no-go. They had the same truffle, which remember, is dark chocolate, so you might have yourself a second truffle. *Wink, wink* There is a little swirl of the Gray Stuff on the side, which this time is not the star of the show\u2026 A full white chocolate Chip is on the plate! Not just that, but children are also given a paint brush with different colored ganache on the plate to paint him! It is incredible and the food is delicious! We felt like children seeing all of the details brought to life. The whole experience from check in to the time we paid the bill was around 2 \u00bd hours. That is important if you are traveling with small children.<\/p>\n<p>While the restaurant was very full and every seat was accounted for, we never felt rushed. In fact, we felt the opposite. The service was attentive and very relaxed.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_About_Characters\"><\/span>What About Characters?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We dined at Be Our Guest in September of 2022 and Belle was nowhere to be found. We\u2019re not sure if Disney is planning on bringing her back to character dining. Beast will come out every 20 minutes to meet his guests, but he will only walk by and bow.
