<strong>kakig\u014dri<\/strong>, Japanese shaved ice topped with flavored syrup, but the menu is more extensive than many guests probably realize. You can also get sake slushies, sushi, Japanese beer, sake, plum wine, bottled drinks, and water.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve walked past Kabuki Cafe countless times over the years and, to be honest, don&#8217;t pay much attention to it unless I&#8217;m looking for something specific. We&#8217;ve stopped for kakig\u014dri in the past, I used to pick up Kirin here when I was a bigger beer drinker, and these days I&#8217;m just as likely to stop for bottled water.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s really Kabuki Cafe&#8217;s strength.<\/p>\n<p>It isn&#8217;t a place you need to build your day around. It&#8217;s a convenient little stop when you want a cold snack or drink while making your way around World Showcase.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quick answer:<\/strong> On a hot EPCOT afternoon, kakig\u014dri is the reason I&#8217;d stop. We like the Blue Hawaii topped with sweet milk. A display case divides the opening into left and right service areas, and you can watch Cast Members preparing kakig\u014dri behind the counter.<\/p>\n<p>You don&#8217;t need to walk farther into the Japan Pavilion to find it, which makes Kabuki Cafe particularly convenient when you&#8217;re simply continuing your trip around World Showcase.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Kakigori_Is_the_Main_Reason_to_Stop\"><\/span>Kakig\u014dri Is the Main Reason to Stop<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Kakig\u014dri is Japanese shaved ice, and Kabuki Cafe serves it with flavored syrups imported from Japan.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/EPCOT-Japan-Kabuki-Cafe-Shaved-Ice.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-42035\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/EPCOT-Japan-Kabuki-Cafe-Shaved-Ice.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"525\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/EPCOT-Japan-Kabuki-Cafe-Shaved-Ice.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/EPCOT-Japan-Kabuki-Cafe-Shaved-Ice-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The current flavor choices are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lemon<\/li>\n<li>Blue Hawaii<\/li>\n<li>Melon<\/li>\n<li>Strawberry<\/li>\n<li>Kyoho Grape<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can choose a single flavor for $6.50, two flavors for $7, or a Rainbow version for $7.50.<\/p>\n<p>Additional toppings include Sweet Milk, Coconut Cr\u00e8me, Strawberry Cr\u00e8me, and Mandarin Orange. One topping costs $2, two cost $3, and three cost $4.<\/p>\n<p>Our choice is <strong>Blue Hawaii with sweet milk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The sweet milk adds a creamy richness to the flavored ice and makes the whole thing feel a little more substantial than a simple frozen treat.<\/p>\n<p>Kakig\u014dri is also one of the better snack values in World Showcase. The base prices are relatively low by Walt Disney World standards, and the serving is large enough that two people can share one if you&#8217;re planning to sample other food around EPCOT.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Adults_Have_Their_Own_Frozen_Options\"><\/span>Adults Have Their Own Frozen Options<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Kabuki Cafe also offers several alcoholic frozen drinks.<\/p>\n<p>The current Sake Slushie choices include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blood Orange<\/li>\n<li>Coconut Pineapple<\/li>\n<li>Blackberry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each is currently $13. The menu also lists Violet Sake at $14.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for something cold while walking World Showcase but want an adult drink rather than traditional kakig\u014dri, these make Kabuki Cafe a useful alternative to the more obvious beer and cocktail stops around EPCOT.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Kabuki_Cafe_Also_Serves_Sushi\"><\/span>Kabuki Cafe Also Serves Sushi<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>This is the part of Kabuki Cafe&#8217;s menu that I had almost completely overlooked.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve passed this location for years and didn&#8217;t really think of it as somewhere to get food beyond shaved ice. Looking back through my own photos, though, I can see sushi listed on a menu as far back as 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The current menu includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A5 Wagyu Nigiri Combo<\/li>\n<li>California Roll<\/li>\n<li>Spicy Roll<\/li>\n<li>Tokyo Sushi Combo<\/li>\n<li>Vegetable Roll<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t personally tried the sushi here, so I&#8217;m not going to tell you which one is best.<\/p>\n<p>If I were ordering, the California Roll would probably be my first choice.<\/p>\n<p>The sushi does make Kabuki Cafe more useful than I had given it credit for. You could easily turn a stop for shaved ice or a drink into a light lunch or snack without walking farther into the pavilion.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Beer_Sake_and_Other_Drinks\"><\/span>Beer, Sake, and Other Drinks<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Kabuki Cafe has long been an easy place to pick up a Japanese beer while walking World Showcase.<\/p>\n<p>The current beer selection includes Kirin Ichiban, Sapporo Premium, Kirin Frozen, and Kirin Light.<\/p>\n<p>I used to stop here for Kirin fairly regularly when I drank more beer than I do today.<\/p>\n<p>You can also find Plum Wine, Nigori Sake, Cold Sake, and Hot Sake.<\/p>\n<p>For something simpler, the kiosk sells bottled water, assorted bottled beverages, and POWERADE.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Lines_Are_Usually_Short\"><\/span>Lines Are Usually Short<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/EPCOT-Japan-Kabuki-Cafe-Window.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-42036\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/EPCOT-Japan-Kabuki-Cafe-Window.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/EPCOT-Japan-Kabuki-Cafe-Window.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/EPCOT-Japan-Kabuki-Cafe-Window-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/EPCOT-Japan-Kabuki-Cafe-Window-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One advantage of Kabuki Cafe is that I&#8217;ve rarely encountered much of a wait.<\/p>\n<p>In my experience, there are normally no more than one or two guests ahead of you.<\/p>\n<p>That makes it an easy impulse stop. You can see the kiosk from the promenade, decide something cold sounds good, and be back on your way around World Showcase without committing much time.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_Can_You_Sit\"><\/span>Where Can You Sit?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Kabuki Cafe does not have its own seating area.<\/p>\n<p>The closest improvised option is the low stone wall surrounding the base of the nearby pagoda. The end nearest Kabuki Cafe is low enough that guests sometimes sit there while finishing a drink or snack.<\/p>\n<p>For actual tables and chairs, walk between the Kabuki Cafe and the pagoda and up the stairs toward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/blog\/walt-disney-world-theme-parks\/epcot\/katsura-grill-in-epcots-japan\/\">Katsura Grill<\/a>.
