That first morning there I&#8217;ll usually get a run in. Maybe even the second day too, but that&#8217;s where I usually falter. All that time on your feet in the theme parks can take a toll on you.<\/p>\n\n<p>But if you are more dedicated than me and want to work out while you are staying at the Shades of Green Resort at Disney World here is what you can expect from their gym.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/SOGgym1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1883\" title=\"SOGgym1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/SOGgym1.jpg\" alt=\"Shades of Green's Gym\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Located off the lobby, just down the ramp at the left rear near the patriotic Mickey statue, the gym has all of the usual machines.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/SOGgym2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1884\" title=\"SOGgym2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/SOGgym2.jpg\" alt=\"Shades of Green's Gym\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Both aerobic and weight machines and for the higher tech inclined a Wii Fit.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/SOGgym3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1885\" title=\"SOGgym3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/SOGgym3.jpg\" alt=\"Shades of Green's Gym\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Water and towels are provided and the temperature is just right for a workout, just a little cool.<\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/SOGgym4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1886\" title=\"SOGgym4\" src=\"http:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/SOGgym4.jpg\" alt=\"Shades of Green's Gym\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After your workout have a refreshing dip in one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/blog\/shades-of-green-resort-at-walt-disney-world\/shades-of-green-resort-pools\/\">Shades of Green&#8217;s Pools<\/a><\/p>\n\n<div id=\"milit-1454096041\" class=\"milit-after-content milit-entity-placement\"><br>\r\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paypal.com\/ncp\/payment\/4V6YWP2M2DNAU\">Send Steve a Tip<\/a><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Whenever I head to Disney I go with the resolution to keep up with my PT program.
