I had visited several times during solo research trips, but spending multiple evenings there together changed how we looked at both Three Bridges and Disney\u2019s Coronado Springs Resort.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-41928\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Three Bridges is not a highly polished signature restaurant. The service can move at a relaxed pace, and some interactions are more attentive than others.<\/p>\n<p>But the food is very good, the drinks are excellent, and the setting in the middle of Lago Dorado makes Three Bridges unlike most Walt Disney World restaurants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our quick assessment:<\/strong> Great food, great drinks, OK service\u2014and we are already ready to return.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Location\"><\/span>Location<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Three Bridges Bar &amp; Grill at Villa del Lago is located at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/blog\/walt-disney-world-resorts\/disneys-coronado-springs-resort\/\">Disney\u2019s Coronado Springs Resort<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant is built on pilings above the resort\u2019s central lake. Three pedestrian bridges connect it with the Casitas, Ranchos and Cabanas areas and the Gran Destino Tower side of the resort.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_41927\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Location.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-41927\" class=\"size-full wp-image-41927\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Location.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"850\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Location.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Location-212x300.jpg 212w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Location-565x800.jpg 565w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-41927\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Three Bridges in the lake connected to the shore by, three bridges.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This central location is a major part of the experience. You are surrounded by water, resort lights, and views across Coronado Springs rather than sitting inside a traditional hotel restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Three Bridges is open-air but covered. That gives it the feel of an outdoor lounge while still offering a full table-service menu.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Three_Bridges_Bar_Grill_Is_Really_Like\"><\/span>What Three Bridges Bar &amp; Grill Is Really Like<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Three Bridges is casual, scenic, and deliberately unhurried. You can stop for drinks and a shared appetizer, order a full dinner, or settle in for a longer evening overlooking the lake.<\/p>\n<p>The atmosphere becomes especially attractive after dark as the resort lights reflect across Lago Dorado. You remain in the center of a large Disney resort, but the setting over the lake feels removed from the lobby activity and convention traffic.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the restaurant I would choose for a rushed meal before returning to a park. Three Bridges is better when you have time to enjoy where you are.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"There_Are_No_Advance_Reservations\"><\/span>There Are No Advance Reservations<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Three Bridges does not accept advance dining reservations.<\/p>\n<p>Seating is handled on a walk-up basis.<\/p>\n<p>You can approach the restaurant and ask to be seated, or check Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability in the My Disney Experience app when you are close enough to join the list.<\/p>\n<p>We used the app-based walk-up option once during our trip. The other times, we simply walked to the restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>However, walk-up availability is not guaranteed. Popular evenings, weekends, convention periods and desirable sunset dining times may produce longer waits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steve Says:<\/strong> Do not build a tightly timed evening around being seated at an exact hour. Three Bridges works best when you are willing to arrive, join the walk-up list and enjoy Coronado Springs while you wait. We waited 30 to 40 minutes each time we dined there.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_We_Kept_Ordering\"><\/span>What We Kept Ordering<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We tried Three Bridges more than once because the overall experience was enjoyable\u2014but several menu items also kept pulling us back.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"White_Queso_and_Chorizo_Dip\"><\/span><strong>White Queso and Chorizo Dip<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Queso.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-41921\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Queso.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Queso.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Queso-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Queso-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The White Queso and Chorizo Dip was our favorite shared starter.<\/p>\n<p>It is served with tortilla chips and roasted peppers and has enough flavor and richness to feel more substantial than an ordinary bowl of queso.<\/p>\n<p>This is the kind of appetizer that works whether you are sitting down for a full dinner or simply stopping for drinks and something to share.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pork_Carnitas_Tacos\"><\/span><strong>Pork Carnitas Tacos<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Pork-Carnitas-Tacos.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-41919\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Pork-Carnitas-Tacos.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Pork-Carnitas-Tacos.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Pork-Carnitas-Tacos-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Three-Bridges-Pork-Carnitas-Tacos-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Pork Carnitas Tacos were Tracy&#8217;s favorite entr\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>They are served with tomatillo salsa verde, chipotle-pineapple salsa, house salsa, cotija cheese, pickled vegetables, and black beans and rice.<\/p>\n<p>The different salsas provide a mix of savory, acidic, sweet, and mildly spicy flavors without overwhelming the pork.<\/p>\n<p>The black beans and rice were probably the best we ever had! Pace yourself\u2014especially if you still need to drive back to Shades of Green. Watch out for the 151 floater on top! After a good meal at Three Bridges, I&#8217;d be comfortable skipping dessert and walking to another Coronado Springs lounge for a final drink instead.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%80%9CIts_Moderate_Service%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>\u201cIt\u2019s Moderate Service\u201d<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>During our stay, Tracy and I came up with a phrase that eventually applied to several Coronado Springs restaurants and lounges:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIt\u2019s Moderate Service.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are accustomed to staying at and dining around Disney Deluxe Resorts, where service often feels more polished, proactive, and tightly managed.<\/p>\n<p>At Coronado Springs, the pace was noticeably more casual.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes service was simply slower. On one occasion elsewhere at the resort, it felt disinterested. At Three Bridges, our overall impression was that the food and drinks were stronger than the consistency of the service.<\/p>\n<p>That does not mean the service was bad every time.<\/p>\n<p>It means you should not arrive expecting the polish of a Disney signature restaurant simply because Three Bridges occupies such an attractive setting.<\/p>\n<div class=\"military-family-experience\">\n<div class=\"military-family-experience\">\n<p><strong>Steve Says: \u201cModerate Service\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Not necessarily bad service. The point is that Coronado Springs gives you choices.<\/p>\n<p>You might begin with a drink at Barcelona Lounge, walk around Lago Dorado, have dinner at Three Bridges, and finish the evening at Dahlia Lounge. Or simply visit Three Bridges for appetizers and drinks and see where the evening takes you.<\/p>\n<p>Coronado Springs is large enough to become the evening&#8217;s destination rather than merely the hotel where you stopped for dinner.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_We_Would_Choose_Coronado_Springs_Over_Disney_Springs\"><\/span>Why We Would Choose Coronado Springs Over Disney Springs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Disney Springs offers an enormous collection of restaurants, stores, and entertainment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It has also become extremely crowded.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tracy and I are increasingly over the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/blog\/walt-disney-worlds-disney-springs\/\">Disney Springs experience<\/a>. We&#8217;ve never had a problem being admitted when visiting for dinner, but as with any Disney resort, parking policies can change and are ultimately determined by the security Cast Member.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steve Says:<\/strong> If anyone in your party plans to enjoy more than one cocktail, use a rideshare rather than driving.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Rideshare_from_Shades_of_Green\"><\/span><strong>Rideshare from Shades of Green<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Uber, Lyft, or Minnie Van Service are the simplest options when no one wants to drive.<\/p>\n<p>Use Disney\u2019s Coronado Springs Resort as the destination. href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/blog\/walt-disney-world-resorts\/animal-kingdom-resort-area-hotels-best-disney-world-resorts-near-animal-kingdom\/\">Disney\u2019s Animal Kingdom Resort Area<\/a>, making an Animal Kingdom day one of the more natural opportunities to visit.<\/p>\n<p>You can leave the park, take a Disney bus to Coronado Springs, and spend the evening at the resort.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hollywood_Studios_Day\"><\/span><strong>Hollywood Studios Day<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>A Hollywood Studios day also works because the Studios are on the same road as Coronado Springs, making the resort a relatively convenient place to head after you&#8217;ve finished your park priorities.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"EPCOT_or_Magic_Kingdom_Day\"><\/span><strong>EPCOT or Magic Kingdom Day<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Three Bridges can still work after EPCOT or Magic Kingdom, but it requires more deliberate transportation planning.<\/p>\n<p>For Shades of Green guests, returning to Shades of Green first and then driving or using rideshare may be simpler than building multiple Disney transportation transfers into the evening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"military-family-experience\">\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Is_Three_Bridges_Worth_a_Special_Trip\"><\/span>Is Three Bridges Worth a Special Trip?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Destino-Tower-at-Night-from-Three-Bridges.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-41915\" src=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Coranodo-Springs-Destino-Tower-at-Night-from-Three-Bridges.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>For many repeat Walt Disney World visitors, yes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I would especially consider making the trip if you enjoy resort dining and lounges, want an outdoor lakeside atmosphere, or are looking for an alternative to another evening at Disney Springs. It&#8217;s an especially easy choice if you&#8217;re already staying at Coronado Springs or have a car at Shades of Green.<\/p>\n<p>I would be less likely to recommend a special trip if this is your first Walt Disney World vacation, your park time is limited, you want character dining or heavy Disney theming, or getting to Coronado Springs would require several inconvenient transportation transfers.<\/p>\n<p>Three Bridges isn&#8217;t worth crossing Walt Disney World because it has the most elaborate menu or most polished service. It&#8217;s worth considering because the restaurant, lake, resort atmosphere, and surrounding lounges work so well together.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Steves_Recommendation\"><\/span>Steve\u2019s Recommendation<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Do not think of Three Bridges as merely a restaurant reservation replacement.<\/p>\n<p>Think of Coronado Springs as the destination and Three Bridges as the centerpiece.<\/p>\n<p>Arrive before dinner. Walk through Gran Destino Tower. Have a drink at Barcelona Lounge. Cross the lake to Three Bridges. Share the White Queso and Chorizo Dip, order the Pork Carnitas Tacos and try a Traveler\u2019s Punch.<\/p>\n<p>Then decide whether you are ready to leave or whether the evening should continue at Dahlia Lounge, Rix Sports Bar, or somewhere else around the resort.
