A program for those who have suffered the loss of a sponsor who was on Active Duty.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the information on\u00a0this program at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/blog\/shades-of-green-resort-at-walt-disney-world\/\">Shades of Green Resort<\/a> at Walt Disney World in Florida.<\/p>\n<p>This program offers 50 percent discount from normal room rates based upon the applicable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/blog\/shades-of-green\/shades-of-green-walt-disney-worlds-military-resort-room-rates\/\">category<\/a> for a maximum of 14 nights. The discount will apply to additional occupants and up to three <a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/blog\/shades-of-green\/sponsoring-guests-at-shades-of-green\/\">sponsored rooms<\/a> (maximum four rooms).<\/p>\n<p>The Survivor Program guest using the program can take advantage of this special for one stay within a 365 day period.<\/p>\n<p>In order for the Survivors Family discount to be extended, the Survivors\u2019 Family Member must make and confirm reservations and be listed as the primary occupant.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Eligibility Definition and Requirements<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Eligible Personnel Include<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><!--more--><\/h2>\n<p>Family Members who have suffered a loss of a sponsor in the event of an Active Duty death regardless of cause (combat, accident, suicide, illness, etc.)\u00a0and also may be uniformed personnel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proof of Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A military identification card with \u201cAD\u201d in the Sponsor Service\/Status field in combination with \u201cDB\u201d (DOD Beneficiary) or \u201cUnremarried Widow\u201d in the Relationship field on identification cards or \u00a0a DD1300 must be presented at check-in confirming eligibility for the Survivors Discount Program.<\/p>\n<p>Call Shades of Green Reservations Office for more information on the program and eligibility requirements at (888) 593-2242.<\/p>\n<p>Discounts will not be extended to food, alcoholic beverages, tours, tickets and other recreational activities or retail sales.\u00a0 Discount cannot be combined with any other offer.<\/p>\n<p>Stays under the Survivor Family Program are limited to a maximum 14 nights in duration.<\/p>\n\n<div id=\"milit-1108632841\" class=\"milit-after-content milit-entity-placement\"><br>\r\n<div align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paypal.com\/ncp\/payment\/4V6YWP2M2DNAU\">Send Steve a Tip<\/a><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Armed Forces Recreation Centers offer a great discount program, The Survivors&#8217; Family Program.
