The Armed Forces Salute is a Temporary Offer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Armed Forces Salute is a relatively recent innovation by the Walt Disney Company. The first version of the Salute was first offered in 2002 as a partial of the year, during the travel industry downturn after 9\/11. The Salute offers have been renewed, on a year-to-year basis, since then, with a couple of notable breaks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>So if you are considering a Disney vacation within the next couple of years, keep in mind that we never know if the Salute will be renewed again or not. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One ticket during each purchase period must be for the use of the member or spouse; the rest can be used by anyone else (family or friends).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Walt Disney World<\/strong><br \/>\nThe 2025 Salute Ticket Offer started on 1 January 2025 and runs through 19 December 2025.<br \/>\n<strong>New for 2026:<\/strong> The 2026 offers are valid for use <strong>January 1, 2026, through December 18, 2026<\/strong> (park reservation required) and include both the traditional 4\/5\/6-Day <em>Disney Military Salute<\/em> tickets and the special <strong>Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket<\/strong> (unlimited WDW park admission throughout 2026, subject to 2026 blockout dates).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Disneyland<\/strong><br \/>\nThe 2025 Salute Ticket Offer started on 1 January 2025 and runs through 27 December 2025.<br \/>\n<strong>New for 2026:<\/strong> The 2026 Disneyland <em>Military Salute<\/em> tickets are valid for visits <strong>January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2026<\/strong> (park reservation required).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_What_Type_of_Tickets_are_available_for_the_Armed_Forces_Salute\"><\/span>2. What Type of Tickets are available for the Armed Forces Salute?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are several different Disney Theme Park Tickets available through the Armed Forces Salute for Walt Disney World and Disneyland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida<\/strong><br \/>\n4-day, 5-day, and 6-day tickets are available<br \/>\nThey come in 2 different versions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Park Hopper Option<\/li>\n<li>Park Hopper Plus Option<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>New for 2026 (WDW):<\/strong> The <strong>Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket<\/strong> provides <em>unlimited WDW park admission for 2026<\/em>, subject to blockout dates. You can start your day at one park then switch to another (as many times as you want), or even take a break in between.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> Park Hopper Plus Option<\/strong> allows the number of Plus entrances equal to the number of days on the ticket (so a 4-day ticket has 4 Plus entrances). Are there any restrictions on how the Armed Forces Salute Tickets can be used?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Besides any Blockout dates and the expiration date, there are no restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>You can use all the days of your tickets in a row, sporadically over a longer vacation stay, or here and there throughout the year. We&#8217;ve done all of these.<\/p>\n<p>The same applies to the Plus visits; you have until the end of the Salute Offer Period to use them all up.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.militarydisneytips.com\/blog\/disney-military-discounts\/all-disney-military-tickets-require-theme-park-reservations\/\">Theme Park Reservations<\/a> are required for all Military Tickets at Walt Disney World and for all tickets at Disneyland!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"10_What_if_I_need_more_days_than_the_Armed_Forces_Salute_Tickets_offer\"><\/span>10. What if I need more days than the Armed Forces Salute Tickets offer?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In some cases, you may want to spend more days touring the Disney parks than are available on the Armed Forces Salute Tickets.<\/p>\n<p>At Walt Disney World, in 2026, the new <strong>Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket<\/strong> provides <em>unlimited WDW park admission for 2026<\/em>, subject to blockout dates. Eligible guests may choose this option instead of (or in addition to) the traditional 4\/5\/6-Day Salute tickets, depending on trip plans.<\/p>\n<p>At Disney World, one other idea is to opt for the Plus Option. The Plus visits can be used on non-park days to fill out a longer stay.<\/p>\n<p>Use back-to-back Disney Armed Forces Salute tickets if you have a small party. One to three people can use 2 or more Salute tickets each for a longer stay. Another option is to buy tickets for the additional days on top of your Armed Forces Salute Tickets. But you should be <strong>very careful doing any of these<\/strong>.
