Fun Spot America with Parks in Kissimmee, Orlando, and Atlanta is offering a fantastic Military Discount!

Fun Spot America Theme Parks is a family-owned business with a long history in the Orlando area. Starting with go-carts back in the 70s they now have big thrill rides as well as family friendly and kid rides. Fun Spot has 2 locations in the Orlando Theme Park Area!

For your Walt Disney World centered vacation, the Kissimmee Fun Spot is just over 2 miles from Disney property. It’s about a 5 mile drive from the All-Star Resorts and 8.5 from the Magic Kingdom area Resorts.

The Orlando Location (near international Drive) is just over a half mile from Universal Orlando’s Surfside and Dockside Inn and Suites and a max distance of 2 miles to the other Universal Hotels.

Fun Spot America Special Military Discount Eligibility

Fun Spot is offering a special, highly discounted Military Ticket!

Eligibility for this ticket is very similar to Disney’s Armed Forces Salute.

Here is the list of those who are eligible for this great discount:

Current US Military Members:

• Active Military (US Army, US Navy,  US Marines, US Air Force, US Space Force)
• Reserve Military (US Army, US Navy,  US Marines, US Air Force, US Space Force)
• National Guard
• US Coast Guard

Retired Members of the US Military:

• Active (US Army, US Navy,  US Marines, US Air Force, US Space Force)
• Reserve (US Army, US Navy,  US Marines, US Air Force, US Space Force)
• National Guard
• US Coast Guard

100% Service Connected Disabled.

Medal of Honor Recipients.

Spouses

Un-remarried Widows are entitled to their departed military spouse’s discounts (not Civil Service or Contractor). Relationship Field must say DEC-SP.

Foreign partners/Coalition partners stationed at a US base are eligible. They must have a permanent US Military issued ID (CAC card with blue stripe).

Another Option

If you do not fall into one of the categories above, but are eligible to purchase tickets at Base Ticket Offices (that don’t require a current military ID for use) you may purchase a Military Fun Spot Ticket that is still discounted but not as much.

Here are the prices for the Fun Spot Military Tickets:

From a Bast Ticket Office:

• The Highly Discounted Ticket – $23.25 (all ages 3+)
• The Lesser Discounted Ticket – Around $47.00 (I’ve seem $46.75 and $47.00)(all ages 3+)

At the Fun Spot Gate:

• $25.00 plus tax which comes to $26.63 (all ages 3+)

Fun Spot only sells the highly discounted tickets in person. If you do not qualify for these you’ll need to get yours at a Base Ticket Office.

The Regular General Public Gate Price is $64.95!

There are no blockout dates for this offer!

The number of highly discounted tickets purchased through a Base Ticket Office (or long distance) is unlimited!

If you want to purchase in person at Fun Spot, the limit for these special tickets is 4 per customer.

Where to Purchase the Fun Spot Military Ticket

You can purchase the Fun Spot Military Tickets several different ways. And eligibility and price varies depending on where you purchase.

1. Buy Ahead at Your Local Base Ticket Office (if they carry it)
2. Buy from Shades of Green
3. Buy from a Military Ticket Office that ships (I like the Patrick ITT)
4. Buy at the Fun Spot Ticket Windows

Your Local Ticket Office – Your local office may or may not carry these. Right now I am just seeing these available at the Florida Bases (I’ve seen: Shades of Green, Patrick, Mac Dill, & Eglin). I do not see these tickets offered at the Georgia Bases. Some bases are just advertising the highly discounted ticket and not the lesser discounted one.

Shades of Green – Shades of Green is offering both of the ticket versions for 23.25 and $46.75 at their Ticket Office.

A Ticket Office that Ships – As I mentioned, I’m just seeing these tickets advertised is some of the Florida Ticket Offices. Shades of Green and Patrick Space Force Base are both great options for Bases that Ship.

At Fun Spot – If you qualify for the highly discounted ticket and aren’t sure about buying ahead (for scheduling) you might want this option.

Fun Spot America Info

Both fun Spot locations have a lot to offer, with a variety of attractions and dining options.

Attractions include:

• Coasters
• Thrill Rides
• Go-Karts
• Family Rides
• Kiddie Rides
• Arcade & Midway

Many attractions are duplicated in each park and each has some unique ones.

There are height requirements for all rides ranging from just 24 inches for the kiddie rides up to 54 inches for some.

Kissimmee Fun Spot Attractions

Located just a few miles from Walt Disney World, the Fun Spot Kissimmee location is just a bit smaller than its counterpart.

Here are just a few of their offerings.

Mine Blower Coaster – Drop 80 feet straight into an inversion. This coaster is the ONLY wooden coaster in Florida to go upside down!

Headrush 360 – Turn your world upside down as this ride spins you around, sideways and every other way you can think of

Vortex Track – The Vortex is 4 stories high (40 feet!) and features the world’s steepest banking curve at 32 degrees! This track has double-seat go-karts, so even younger children, while an adult drives, can enjoy the action of this multi-leveled track!

Bumper Kars – No car insurance? No problem! Bump all you want, but watch your back because you just might get bumped too!

Carousel – Take a trip back in time on this amusement park classic. Fun for all ages.

Kissimmee Arcade – Come play the latest arcade games! There is something for everyone to play with a variety of games to choose from.

Dynamite Shack Saloon – Turkey legs, street corn, and pulled pork sandwiches, and ice-cold beers.

Located just about 8 miles from Walt Disney World and a mile and a half from Universal Orlando, the Fun Spot Orlando location is just a bit bigger than its counterpart.
