Drinkwalla at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Fresh, colorful drinks inspired by the flavors of India—perfect for cooling off as you explore Asia.
Drinkwalla is a small but memorable beverage stand tucked into the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It doesn’t serve food, but what it does offer are some of the park’s most refreshing non-alcoholic drinks, with bold flavors that feel right at home in this richly themed land.
Location
Drinkwalla is located in Asia at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, near the bridge leading from Discovery Island.
Because it’s along a main thoroughfare, it’s an easy stop as you move deeper into Asia or loop back toward Discovery Island.
Ambiance
This is a simple, open-air drink stand, but the theming fits seamlessly into the Asia section of the park. Bright colors, hand-painted details, and the surrounding music and architecture help it feel more immersive than your average beverage cart.
While this is still very much a “grab-and-go” stop, there are limited outdoor tables with seating around the back/right side of the building—handy if you want a quick break before heading onward.
Menu
Drinkwalla specializes in non-alcoholic specialty beverages, many inspired by Indian flavors. The menu can rotate seasonally, but you’ll typically find options like:
- Frozen or iced chai tea drinks
- Fruit-based slushes with mango, strawberry, or citrus flavors
- Layered beverages that are as fun to look at as they are to drink
These drinks are sweet, refreshing, and popular with both kids and adults—especially guests looking for something different from soda or standard lemonade.
Pro Tip: Some of Drinkwalla’s drinks are surprisingly large, making them easy to share between kids.
Mobile Order
Mobile Order is not available at Drinkwalla. Ordering is done directly at the window, and lines are usually short except during peak afternoon hours.
Tips for Military Families
If you’re touring with kids—or just trying to stay cool while covering lots of ground—Drinkwalla is a great strategic stop.
- Budget-friendly refresh: Prices are generally lower than table-service or lounge beverages.
- Quick and efficient: Drinks are fast to receive, making this an easy fit between Lightning Lane Multi Pass return times.
- A “something different” option: Great for families who want a fun specialty drink without ordering dessert or a full snack.
Families staying at Shades of Green often start early and log a lot of steps—this is a perfect mid-day refresh before tackling Expedition Everest or Kali River Rapids.
Wrap-Up
Drinkwalla may be small, but it punches above its weight when it comes to unique, refreshing drinks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. If you’re exploring Asia and need a flavorful break from the heat, it’s absolutely worth a stop.
