Disneyland Paris for U.S. Military Families
Disneyland Paris can be a surprisingly good addition to a European vacation for U.S. military families.
There is a significant Disneyland Paris military ticket discount, the resort is compact enough that you do not need a week to experience it, and it is easy to combine a Disney visit with Paris, Germany, Belgium, or a larger European trip.
There are also some major differences from planning trips to Walt Disney World or Disneyland in California.
The military ticket works differently. Disney Hotel packages require some careful price comparisons. Transportation assumptions are different. European school holidays matter. Disabled veterans may qualify for benefits that are very different from the programs at the U.S. Disney resorts.
And for military travelers with Space-A privileges, Disneyland Paris can even be worked into a trip through Ramstein.
A note before we get started: I have not personally visited Disneyland Paris. Unlike most of the firsthand Walt Disney World and Disneyland (California) material on Military Disney Tips, this guide is based on current Disneyland Paris policies, military travel resources, and reports from U.S. military families who have actually made the trip.
I will continue updating it as policies change and as Military Disney Tips readers share their own experiences.

Disneyland Paris Military Discount Tickets
This is the biggest reason Disneyland Paris belongs on Military Disney Tips.
Disneyland Paris offers a special-rate ticket specifically for qualifying military personnel from the United States, United Kingdom, and France.
For U.S. travelers, the current offer is available to active-duty and retired military members who can show accepted government-issued proof of their status.
The current military offer is:
- 2 consecutive days
- Admission to both Disneyland Paris theme parks
- Park hopping between Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World
- Date-based pricing
- Up to five tickets for the qualifying military member and accompanying guests
There is currently no 1-Day military ticket.
That makes two days the natural starting point for a military Disneyland Paris trip.
Where Do You Buy Disneyland Paris Military Tickets?
This is much simpler than buying many U.S. military Disney tickets.
You buy the military tickets directly from Disneyland Paris.
You do not have to visit a U.S. military ticket office before traveling to France.
The military member selects the military special-rate ticket and purchases the tickets online. Military proof is checked when the tickets are first used at Disneyland Paris.
Can a Spouse or Dependent Buy the Military Tickets?
Not independently.
Current Disney guidance requires the qualifying active-duty or retired military member to be present with the appropriate proof of service.
A dependent military ID by itself does not give the spouse or dependent independent eligibility for the offer if the qualifying member is not there.
The other tickets do not have to be used only by dependents or immediate family members. The qualifying member can use the remaining tickets for accompanying guests, within the five-ticket limit.
Do All Veterans Qualify?
No.
This is an important difference from some U.S. military and veteran programs.
Disneyland Paris describes this offer as being for active and retired military personnel.
An honorably discharged U.S. veteran who separated from the military but did not retire does not qualify for this particular military ticket solely because of veteran status.
However, a veteran with a service-connected disability may qualify separately for Disneyland Paris’s disability ticket and Priority Card programs. More on that below.
How Much Is the Military Discount?
Disneyland Paris uses date-based pricing, so there is not one military ticket price that applies all year.
The savings can be substantial.
Our friends at Poppin’ Smoke compared several dates and documented military prices that were roughly 50% below the comparable regular ticket price in their examples.
That does not mean you should assume an exact 50% discount for every date.
Instead:
- Check your actual dates on the military ticket calendar
- Compare nearby dates if your schedule is flexible
- Compare the military tickets against a Disney Hotel + Tickets package if staying onsite
You can read their excellent firsthand Disneyland Paris guide for military travelers for another military family’s experience.
What About European ITT Offices?
If you are stationed in Europe, it is still worth checking your local Information, Tickets and Travel office.
But do not assume you need ITT to obtain the Disneyland Paris military ticket.
The current military ticket is sold directly by Disneyland Paris.
European military ITT offices sometimes organize Paris or Disneyland Paris trips that include bus transportation, lodging, or sightseeing. For example, Spangdahlem AB offered a 2026 Paris/Disneyland Paris overnight trip that included transportation and lodging but specifically required participants to purchase their Disney tickets separately.
I did not find a current Ramstein ITT listing selling a separate Disneyland Paris military ticket during this research.
So check your local ITT for transportation and package opportunities, but compare the actual park ticket directly with Disneyland Paris.
How Many Days Do You Need at Disneyland Paris?
There is no single right answer, but the military ticket itself gives us a useful starting point.
For many U.S. military families visiting as part of a larger European vacation, two or three park days look like the sweet spot.
| Park Days | Best For |
| 1 Day | Highlights only; not ideal if this may be your only visit |
| 2 Days | Most first-time military visitors; matches the military ticket |
| 3 Days | Shows, characters, repeats, slower pace, or avoiding a rushed schedule |
| 4+ Days | Disney-focused vacations, young children, frequent breaks, or guests who want to see everything at a relaxed pace |
Military families who responded when I asked about Disneyland Paris had very different experiences.
Several felt two days was plenty. Others preferred three so they could repeat favorites and see more shows.
One military family spent 4 1/2 park days while staying at the Disneyland Hotel and was very happy that they had allowed that much time. They rode everything they wanted and saw the shows they wanted without treating the visit as a race.
So I would not tell anyone that more than two days is a waste.
Instead, consider what else you are giving up.
If this is your first and possibly only trip to Europe, a fourth or fifth Disney day competes with time in Paris, Normandy, Germany, Belgium, or wherever else your trip may take you.
Remember: Disneyland Paris Is Not Walt Disney World
Experienced Walt Disney World visitors need to recalibrate their sense of scale.
Disneyland Paris has two theme parks:
- Disneyland Park
- Disney Adventure World
Disney Adventure World is the newly transformed version of the former Walt Disney Studios Park and now includes World of Frozen.
The two parks sit beside one another and are easy to walk between.
This is far more like the compact relationship between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure in California than the sprawling four-park Walt Disney World Resort.
Do not mistake smaller for identical.
Disneyland Paris has different versions of familiar attractions, and in some cases they are more elaborate or more intense than their U.S. counterparts.
Highlights that repeatedly come up from U.S. Disney visitors include:
- Big Thunder Mountain
- Phantom Manor
- Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain
- Sleeping Beauty Castle and the dragon underneath it
- Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril
- Marvel Avengers Campus
- World of Frozen
- Ratatouille: The Adventure
Go because it is a different Disney resort, not because you expect a smaller copy of Walt Disney World.
Where Should Military Families Stay?
There are really four strategies:
- Stay in a Disney Hotel
- Stay in a Disneyland Paris Partner Hotel
- Stay elsewhere near the resort
- Stay in Paris and commute
The right answer depends heavily on your trip.
Disney Hotels
Disneyland Paris offers several Disney Hotels, ranging from the Disneyland Hotel immediately at the park entrance to Disney Davy Crockett Ranch, which requires a vehicle.
Staying onsite gives you the easiest version of a Disneyland Paris vacation.
Benefits can include:
- Very short walks or free transportation to the parks
- Extra Magic Time before regular park opening
- Disney Hotel character experiences at most locations
- Free Disney Hotel parking
- Easy midday breaks
- A much stronger Disney bubble
The Disneyland Hotel is about as close to a theme park as a hotel can get.
Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is also extremely convenient, and the remaining traditional Disney Hotels are walkable or connected by free shuttle service.
Disney Davy Crockett Ranch is the exception. It is designed for guests with a vehicle and does not have the normal Disney Hotel shuttle.
There Is No Current Military Disney Hotel Discount
The military discount currently applies to park tickets, not Disney Hotel rooms or Hotel + Ticket packages.
This creates an unusual pricing decision.
If you want to stay at a Disney Hotel, price the trip at least three ways:
| Option | What to Price |
| Disney Package | Disney Hotel + Tickets package directly from Disneyland Paris |
| Military Ticket Strategy | Disney room-only reservation + military tickets |
| Third-Party Strategy | Disney Hotel room from a reputable third-party booking site + military tickets |
This comparison matters because Disneyland Paris heavily discounts park admission within many Hotel + Ticket packages. A military ticket can be an excellent deal without necessarily making a separate hotel-and-ticket combination the least expensive choice.
This is also a good place to get help from The Mouse Experts, our recommended Disney-specializing travel agency. They plan Disneyland Paris vacations and can help you compare Disney Hotel options, packages, meal plans, and the other pieces of an on-site stay. If you plan to use the military ticket, make sure your advisor knows that from the beginning so the Disney Hotel options can be evaluated around it.
Poppin’ Smoke documented exactly this comparison during a military family’s stay at Disney Newport Bay Club and found that booking the room separately plus military tickets saved them several hundred dollars on their particular dates.
But that is a pricing example, not a rule.
Always compare the prices for your actual dates. The best value may be the Disney Hotel + Ticket package, or it may be a separate hotel reservation combined with the military tickets.
Room-only reservations at Disney Hotels are not normally offered through the standard online booking flow, so you may need to contact Disneyland Paris directly.
Need Help Planning Your Disney Vacation?
Disney military discounts can save families a lot of money, but figuring out tickets, eligibility, resorts, Lightning Lane strategies, and transportation can quickly become overwhelming.
That’s why Military Disney Tips recommends The Mouse Experts Military Disney Vacation Specialists.
The Mouse Experts is a military-family owned and operated Disney-specializing travel agency that has partnered with Military Disney Tips for over 18 years. Their agents personally use the same military discounts that you do and understand the unique challenges military families face when planning Disney vacations.
- Experienced with Disney military discounts and eligibility rules
- Military-family owned and operated
- Same Disney pricing as booking directly with Disney
- Additional planning assistance available for guests wanting more personalized help
- Can help reduce stress, save time, and avoid common planning mistakes
Over 27,000 Military Disney Tips readers have contacted The Mouse Experts over the years for help planning their Disney vacations.
Partner Hotels and Other Nearby Hotels
Disneyland Paris also has a group of official Partner Hotels near the resort.
Examples include:
- Hôtel l’Elysée Val d’Europe
- Staycity Aparthotels Paris, Marne-la-Vallée
- Ki Space Hotel & Spa
- Aparthotel Adagio Val d’Europe
- Campanile Val de France
- All Suites Appart Hotel Val d’Europe
- B&B Hotel
- Explorers Fabulous Hotels Group
Most provide free shuttle transportation to the Disneyland Paris transportation area.
These can be especially attractive for military families who:
- Want more space
- Need a kitchenette
- Have a larger family
- Want to use the military ticket without paying Disney Hotel prices
One family strongly recommended Explorers Hotel for its indoor pool, play areas, restaurants, and family room setup.
Again, price the whole trip rather than assuming the military ticket automatically produces the cheapest package.
Should You Stay in Paris and Commute?
You can.
The RER A regional train runs between central Paris and Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy, with the Disneyland Paris station directly beside Disney Village and the parks.
From Châtelet in central Paris, the ride is roughly 40 minutes.
This can make sense if Disneyland Paris is only one or two days of a Paris-centered vacation.
The tradeoff is the trip back at night.
Military families who have done it report that trains leaving after the nighttime spectacular can be extremely crowded.
If Disney is the primary purpose of several consecutive days, staying near the resort makes midday breaks and late nights much easier.
If Paris is the primary purpose and Disney is a side trip, commuting can make more sense.
Can You Use Military Lodging for a Disneyland Paris Trip?
Not as your daily Disneyland Paris hotel.
There is no U.S. military installation next door to Disneyland Paris.
Military lodging becomes more useful as a staging tool during a larger European trip.
For example:
- Ramstein lodging can be useful before or after a Space-A flight
- Chièvres Army Lodge in Belgium may fit into a broader Benelux or driving itinerary
- Other European military lodging can reduce costs between destinations
But I would not build a Disneyland Paris vacation around returning to a distant military installation every night.
Once you start adding several hours of transportation to each Disney day, the savings disappear quickly in time and convenience.
Getting to Disneyland Paris
Flying Commercially
For most travelers arriving from the United States, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, commonly called CDG, is the most useful airport.
Paris Orly also has Disneyland Paris transportation options.
From CDG, you have several choices.
TGV Train From Charles de Gaulle
The fastest rail option can be remarkably fast.
High-speed TGV trains connect Charles de Gaulle Airport with Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy, the station at Disneyland Paris, with the actual train ride taking less than 15 minutes on some services.
Do not confuse that with a 15-minute airport-to-hotel experience.
CDG is enormous.
You still need to get through immigration, collect luggage, reach the correct train station or terminal area, wait for your train, and then get from Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy to your hotel.
One military family described arriving at Terminal 2E and having a long airport transfer before reaching their Disney transportation. Their experience is a good reminder to check your airline terminal and your transportation departure point rather than looking only at the advertised travel time.
Magical Shuttle
Magical Shuttle is a paid airport coach connecting Charles de Gaulle and Orly with Disneyland Paris.
It serves the major Disney Hotels and many Partner Hotels.
The trip is much slower than the TGV but eliminates some of the luggage handling and train-navigation issues.
For a family with young children, a lot of luggage, or no desire to navigate trains immediately after an overnight flight, convenience may matter more than speed.
From Central Paris
The RER A is the basic answer.
Take the train toward Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy and get off at the final Disneyland Paris station.
The station is only a short walk from the entrances to Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, and Disney Village.
Flying Space-A to Disneyland Paris
Space-A creates a very different planning option for eligible military travelers.
The logical European gateway is Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
Ramstein remains one of the most accessible military passenger terminals in Europe from the continental United States, and Poppin’ Smoke estimates it at roughly four hours from Paris by road.
BWI is one of the most important CONUS gateways for Space-A travel to Ramstein, although schedules change and seats are never guaranteed.
Do not think of this as:
Space-A to Disneyland Paris.
Think of it as:
Space-A to Europe, followed by a separate trip to Disneyland Paris.
You still need to arrange transportation from Germany to France.
For travelers using a rental car, the drive from the Ramstein area to Disneyland Paris is roughly four hours in good conditions.
Public transportation is possible but less direct.
Build Space-A Buffer Days
This is not a trip where I would plan a Space-A arrival at Ramstein and a nonrefundable Disneyland Paris reservation for the same afternoon.
Space-A requires flexibility.
Missions change. Seats disappear. Weather and maintenance intervene. You may not get on the flight you expected.
Build buffer time on both ends and have a commercial backup plan.
Poppin’ Smoke has excellent detailed guides to flying Space-A through Ramstein and flying Space-A through BWI, and I recommend reading those before building Disneyland Paris around a military flight.
When Is the Best Time to Visit Disneyland Paris?
Disneyland Paris itself says its lower-attendance periods tend to be midweek—particularly Tuesday through Thursday—during:
- Mid-January through mid-March
- Mid-April through mid-May
The tradeoff is that quieter periods can also have shorter operating hours, fewer scheduled shows, or attraction refurbishment.
Do Not Use Only the U.S. School Calendar
This is one of the most important planning differences for an American family.
Disneyland Paris draws heavily from France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Spain, the Netherlands, and other European countries.
A week that looks harmless on an American school calendar can be a major European holiday period.
Disneyland Paris is in the Paris region, which follows France’s Zone C school calendar.
But French school holidays are not enough by themselves.
Before choosing dates, check:
- French Zone C school holidays
- United Kingdom school breaks
- German holidays and school breaks
- Belgian and Dutch school holidays
- Major European holiday weekends
Be Careful Around Easter
Easter came up repeatedly when military families discussed their trips.
Families who live in Europe warned that the period can bring overlapping school holidays across several countries and significantly heavier Disneyland Paris attendance.
So if your U.S. school district gives you a convenient spring break, check whether half of Europe has the same idea before booking.
Pack for European Weather
Spring can be cool, wet, and changeable.
Military families visiting in March reported jackets, rain gear, and temperatures in the 50s.
A rainy Paris day does not ruin Disneyland Paris, but this is not Orlando.
Pack layers and reliable rain protection rather than planning around a warm-weather Disney wardrobe.
Disabled Veterans: Disneyland Paris Has a Very Different Accessibility Program
This may be one of the most useful military-specific discoveries in this guide.
Disneyland Paris offers a Priority Card for guests with recognized disabilities.
It provides priority—but not guaranteed immediate access—at attractions and can also apply to theaters, outdoor shows, parades, character encounters, and certain restaurant and shop queues.
Guests can apply online beginning one month before the visit and then present the required original documentation when collecting the card.
You Do Not Need to Be 100% P&T
A claim that circulated among military visitors was that this was a special benefit for veterans who are 100% Permanent and Total.
That is too narrow.
Disneyland Paris accepts several types of official U.S. disability documentation.
Disney guidance has specifically confirmed accepted U.S. documentation, including forms of Department of Veterans Affairs disability proof.
A Disney response in 2026 confirmed that a veteran with a 60% VA disability rating could qualify using accepted VA documentation.
So the important issue is not whether you are 100% P&T.
It is whether you have one of Disneyland Paris’s accepted forms of official disability documentation.
Check the current U.S. document list before traveling and bring the original required proof.
There Is Also a Disability Ticket Discount
Disneyland Paris currently offers a 25% reduction on certain park tickets for a qualifying guest with a disability and one accompanying guest.
That is separate from the military ticket program.
If you qualify for both programs, compare the actual prices for your dates rather than assuming one will always be better.
And do not assume two separate special-rate programs can simply be stacked together.
Disney Premier Access: Disneyland Paris’s Paid Line-Skipping System
Disneyland Paris does not use Walt Disney World’s current Lightning Lane system.
Its paid system is Disney Premier Access.
There are two versions.
Disney Premier Access One
Premier Access One is attraction-by-attraction.
You purchase access for one eligible ride in the Disneyland Paris app and receive the next available Premier Access time.
This may be the most useful option for many military families.
If only two or three attractions have waits you really want to avoid, buying them individually can make more sense than paying for the full package.
Disney Premier Access Ultimate
Premier Access Ultimate gives you one use of the Premier Access entrance at each participating attraction.
There are no individual return times to manage.
It is convenient, but it can be expensive.
I would not automatically buy it before seeing the operating hours, expected crowds, and attractions your family actually wants to ride.
Several military visitors told us that purchasing individual Premier Access for a few popular attractions worked well for them.
Dining and Meal Plans
Do not assume Disneyland Paris dining works exactly like Walt Disney World dining.
Disney Hotel guests can add prepaid Meal Plans.
The main structures are:
- Breakfast
- Half Board – Breakfast plus one lunch or dinner
- Full Board – Breakfast plus lunch and dinner
Different levels determine which restaurants and experiences are included.
Character dining can be included with certain higher-level plans or added separately.
Breakfast is not automatically included with every standard Disney Hotel room, so look carefully at what your booking includes.
A Meal Plan can make sense if:
- You know you want hotel breakfast every morning
- You plan several buffet or table-service meals
- You want character dining
- You prefer having a large part of the food budget prepaid
Do not buy one simply because it sounds like the normal way to eat at Disneyland Paris.
Price the restaurants you realistically plan to use.
Make Dining Reservations Early
Disneyland Paris allows restaurant reservations through its app.
Standard guests can make dining reservations up to 2 months in advance. Disney Hotel guests can book as soon as their hotel reservation is confirmed, with reservations available up to 12 months in advance for eligible restaurants.
If there is a restaurant or character meal that matters to your family, do not wait until you arrive.
The app also offers Click & Collect mobile food ordering at participating quick-service restaurants.
Do You Need to Speak French?
No.
Disneyland Paris is an international destination, and English is widely used throughout the resort.
The official app, maps, menus, and important guest information are available in English.
Shows and attractions can include French, English, or combinations of the two.
Military families who visited repeatedly told us that not speaking French did not prevent them from navigating the resort.
That said, knowing a few polite phrases is useful, particularly once you leave the Disney bubble.
Download the Disneyland Paris App Before You Go
Do this before leaving home.
The app is central to the current Disneyland Paris experience.
You can use it to:
- See attraction wait times
- Navigate the parks
- Review restaurant menus
- Make dining reservations
- Purchase Disney Premier Access
- Use Click & Collect at participating restaurants
- Purchase guaranteed access to certain shows
- Purchase reserved viewing for eligible entertainment
- Manage eligible hotel features
If you are accustomed to My Disney Experience at Walt Disney World, think of this as another Disney trip where your phone becomes an important planning tool.
Tax-Free Shopping for U.S. Visitors
Visitors who normally live outside the European Union may qualify for a refund of French value-added tax, or VAT, on eligible merchandise purchases.
This can matter if you plan to spend heavily on Disneyland Paris merchandise.
Under current French rules, tourist purchases must total more than €100 including VAT in the same store on the same day to qualify for the tax-free process.
The merchant provides the appropriate export sales documentation, and the paperwork must be validated when you finally leave the European Union.
Do this before checking luggage containing the merchandise when required.
There are private apps and refund services that can assist with the process, but France’s official system is called PABLO.
A Special Warning for Military Families Stationed in Europe
Do not assume that having a U.S. passport automatically makes you eligible for the tourist VAT refund.
French Customs bases the benefit on your habitual residence outside the European Union, not simply citizenship.
That distinction can matter for Americans stationed or residing in an EU country.
Check your own status before counting a VAT refund as part of the vacation budget.
U.S. Passport and European Entry Changes
For a normal tourist visit, U.S. passport holders do not need a visa for stays in France of up to 90 days in any 180-day period. A valid passport is required and should be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure from the Schengen area.
Europe’s new Entry/Exit System, or EES, is now operating and records passport and biometric information for many non-EU travelers entering and leaving the Schengen area.
As of this update, ETIAS is not yet operating, so U.S. travelers do not currently need an ETIAS travel authorization. The European Union says no applications are being accepted yet and will announce the start date before launch.
Because European entry systems are changing, check the current requirements again shortly before your trip.
Military members and families stationed overseas can have different documentation and status rules, so follow your command and host-nation travel requirements rather than assuming the ordinary tourist rules cover every situation.
What Military Families Told Us About Disneyland Paris
The military families who discussed their visits did not all agree—which is useful.
Some preferred Walt Disney World.
Others thought Disneyland Paris was better.
Some thought two days was plenty.
Others loved spending four or more days there.
But several themes repeated:
- The resort is much more compact than Walt Disney World
- Two to three park days work well for many first-time visitors
- Staying onsite makes the trip extremely easy
- English is widely usable
- Several familiar attractions are surprisingly different
- European school holidays can dramatically change crowds
- Spring weather can be cold and wet
- Individual Premier Access purchases can be useful on busy days
- Returning to Paris by train after the nighttime show can mean very crowded trains
That range of opinions is exactly why I would not approach Disneyland Paris as a checklist version of Walt Disney World.
Three Ways I Would Structure a Military Disneyland Paris Trip
For a Family Stationed in Europe
3 nights near Disneyland Paris / 2 or 3 park days
Drive or take rail to the Disneyland Paris area, stay onsite or at a Partner Hotel, then continue to Paris or another European destination.
The 2-Day / 2-Park military ticket makes this especially easy.
For a U.S. Family Flying Commercially
Split Paris and Disneyland Paris
A practical first trip might look like:
- 3–4 nights in Paris
- 2–3 nights at Disneyland Paris
- 2–3 Disney park days
That avoids commuting every Disney day while still giving Paris the attention it deserves.
For an Eligible Space-A Traveler
Build the trip around flexibility:
- Fly Space-A to Ramstein
- Use military lodging while stabilizing your arrival
- Allow a buffer before prepaid France reservations
- Travel to Disneyland Paris for 2–3 park days
- Add Paris or another European destination
- Return toward Ramstein with several days of flexibility before the desired flight home
- Maintain a commercial backup plan
The more rigid the vacation dates, the less attractive Space-A becomes.
My Biggest Disneyland Paris Military Planning Tips
If you remember nothing else from this guide:
- Buy the military ticket directly from Disneyland Paris
- Do not assume an ordinary honorably discharged veteran qualifies for the military ticket
- Bring the qualifying member’s valid military proof to the park
- Remember the current military product is a 2-Day / 2-Park ticket
- Price Disney Hotel packages against room-only plus military tickets
- Check Partner Hotels before assuming onsite is too expensive
- Two days work for many visitors, but three give you breathing room
- Check European—not just American—school holidays
- Look closely at the Priority Card rules if you have a service-connected disability
- Do not assume the Priority Card is only for 100% P&T veterans
- Use Premier Access selectively unless your touring style justifies Ultimate
- Consider the TGV from CDG, but account for the realities of navigating the airport
- If staying in Paris, expect the RER after nighttime entertainment to be busy
- Use Space-A only if you can build flexibility into both ends of the trip
- Download the Disneyland Paris app before traveling
Disneyland Paris Military Discounts FAQ
Does Disneyland Paris offer a U.S. military discount?
Yes. Disneyland Paris offers a special-rate 2-Day / 2-Park ticket for qualifying active-duty and retired U.S. military members and their accompanying guests.
Who qualifies for Disneyland Paris military tickets?
The current Disneyland Paris military ticket is available to qualifying active-duty and retired U.S. military personnel with accepted government-issued proof of military status. Honorably discharged veterans who did not retire do not qualify solely because of veteran status.
Where do U.S. military members buy Disneyland Paris military tickets?
Military tickets can be purchased directly from Disneyland Paris online. You do not need to buy them through a U.S. military ITT office before traveling to France.
How many Disneyland Paris military tickets can I buy?
The qualifying military member can purchase up to five military tickets total for themselves and accompanying guests. The qualifying member must be present with accepted military proof when the tickets are first used.
Does Disneyland Paris offer military discounts on Disney Hotels?
No current military discount applies to Disney Hotel rooms or Disney Hotel + Ticket packages. Compare the Disney package price with a separate hotel reservation plus military tickets because either option may be less expensive for your dates.
How many days do you need at Disneyland Paris?
Two days work well for many first-time visitors and match the current 2-Day / 2-Park military ticket. Three days provide more time for shows, characters, repeat attractions, and a less rushed visit.
Bottom Line
Disneyland Paris may be one of the more interesting Disney opportunities available to U.S. military families.
The military ticket is easy to buy directly from Disney and can offer significant savings. The resort is compact enough to fit naturally into a larger European vacation. Families stationed in Europe can make it a long-weekend destination, while retirees and other Space-A-eligible travelers can potentially build it into a much larger overseas trip.
But the best plan is not automatically the cheapest-looking military plan.
Compare the military tickets against Disney’s Hotel + Ticket packages. Decide whether two park days really suit your family. Look at European school holidays before choosing dates. Understand your airport and ground transportation before landing. And if disability access applies to your family, study the Disneyland Paris program because it is very different from the U.S. parks.
For most U.S. military families planning a first visit, I would begin by pricing two or three days at Disneyland Paris combined with several days in Paris or elsewhere in Europe.
That gives you enough time to appreciate what makes Disneyland Paris different without treating the entire European trip like a visit to Walt Disney World.
