If you’re a U.S. military family planning a California trip, good news: Disneyland offers two ways to save—year-round Regular Military Discounted Tickets and the deeply discounted Disney Armed Forces Salute (AFS) tickets. This guide explains eligibility, key differences, where to buy, how Lightning Lane works with military tickets, and when to choose one option over the other so you can maximize savings without surprises.

Types of Disneyland Military Tickets

There are two official ways military families save on Disneyland admission:

  • Disney Armed Forces Salute (AFS) — A limited-time annual promotion offering the largest discounts, with 3-day and 4-day Park Hopper tickets only, plus blockout dates.

At Disneyland, you can add Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your entire visit—either at purchase or add it after arrival. If added to your ticket it must be for every day of the ticket.

Note: Lightning Lane Single Pass (for individually priced attractions) is a separate, day-of purchase inside the Disneyland app and is subject to limited availability.
