Paradise Gardens Park is Disney’s love letter to classic seaside amusement parks—a vibrant mix of nostalgic boardwalk fun, colorful rides, and breezy waterfront dining.
Located at the far end of Paradise Bay, this cheerful area captures the carefree spirit of early California boardwalks, blending Disney storytelling with timeless carnival charm.
Attractions
- The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure – Journey under the sea in your clamshell vehicle to relive the story of The Little Mermaid. Sing along to classic songs like “Part of Your World” and “Under the Sea” as you float through detailed scenes featuring your favorite characters.
- Goofy’s Sky School (H42) (LL Multi) – A wild mouse–style coaster inspired by the 1940 short Goofy’s Glider. Follow Goofy’s clumsy flying lessons on a fast, twisty, and laugh-out-loud ride.

- Silly Symphony Swings (H40) – Swing out over the water to the lively strains of “The Storm” from Disney’s The Band Concert. It’s a breezy, musical thrill that perfectly matches the park’s seaside vibe.
This area also offers beautiful views of Paradise Bay, making it one of the best places to watch World of Color, the park’s spectacular nighttime show of lights, fountains, and Disney music.

Ambiance & History
Paradise Gardens Park originally opened in 2001 as part of Paradise Pier, which celebrated California’s coastal amusement parks of the early 20th century. When the area was reimagined into Pixar Pier in 2018, the remaining attractions and dining locations on this side of the bay were grouped under the new name Paradise Gardens Park.
The transformation allowed the space to retain its timeless boardwalk charm while better connecting it to Disney California Adventure’s broader storytelling. The land features elegant Victorian-inspired details, colorful lights, and seaside music that capture the nostalgia of a sunny California day by the shore.
During seasonal celebrations such as Lunar New Year and Viva Navidad!, Paradise Gardens Park becomes a hub for cultural entertainment, food booths, and character interactions—making it one of the most festive spots in the park.

Paradise Gardens Park is a place to slow down and savor the joy of classic Disney fun. Whether you’re soaring above the bay, enjoying a corn dog in the sunshine, or watching World of Color light up the night, this area delivers simple pleasures wrapped in seaside nostalgia. It’s an essential stop for anyone looking to experience the heart of Disney California Adventure’s charm.
