Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station
Bluey and Bingo Have Officially Arrived at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
If your family loves Bluey, there’s now a brand-new reason to ride the Wildlife Express Train at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station officially opened on May 26, 2026, bringing interactive games, themed play areas, Australian animals, and appearances by Bluey and Bingo to the former Rafiki’s Planet Watch area.
This new experience transforms much of the old Rafiki’s Planet Watch into a more interactive and family-focused destination while still keeping many of the conservation and animal care elements that made the area unique. If you previously enjoyed the original area, you can still read our full guide to Rafiki’s Planet Watch and Conservation Station.
Location
📍 Disney’s Animal Kingdom | Africa | Conservation Station
Bluey’s Wild World is located at Conservation Station inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Just like the former Rafiki’s Planet Watch experience, the only way to reach the area is by boarding the Wildlife Express Train from Harambe Station in the Africa section of the park.
The train ride itself is part of the experience and offers a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into some of Disney’s animal care facilities along the way.
The Queue
Due to the massive popularity of Bluey, Disney is currently using a Virtual Queue system for Bluey’s Wild World. Guests join through the My Disney Experience app, and the queue includes access to the Wildlife Express Train, Bluey’s Wild World, Jumping Junction, and the surrounding Conservation Station experiences.
At launch, queue distribution times have generally been:
- 7:00 AM
- 10:00 AM
The 7:00 AM queue does not require guests to already be inside the park, but the 10:00 AM queue does require park entry.
Once your group is called, you’ll head to Harambe Station and board the Wildlife Express Train to Conservation Station.
The Train Ride
The Wildlife Express Train remains one of the most overlooked experiences at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The open-air train ride takes approximately seven minutes and provides a unique backstage look at animal housing and care areas that most guests never see.
After exiting the train, guests take a short walk to Conservation Station, where Bluey’s Wild World is now located.
The Experience
Bluey’s Wild World is designed primarily for younger children and families, but honestly, many adults who watch Bluey with their kids will probably enjoy it just as much.
The experience blends interactive play areas with Disney’s long-standing conservation and animal care messaging. Rather than functioning like a traditional ride, this is more of an immersive play-and-explore environment.
- Bluey and Bingo Interactive Areas – Kids can participate in games, dancing, bubbles, and themed activities inspired by the hit series.
- Australian Animal Exhibits – Disney added new animal experiences inspired by Bluey’s Australian setting, including kangaroos and wallabies at the newly renamed Jumping Junction.
- Animal Care Experiences – Many of the original veterinary and conservation viewing areas remain part of Conservation Station, including opportunities to see animal nutrition and veterinary care.
- Family Play Spaces – The area now includes more open-ended play and interactive elements geared toward preschool and elementary-age guests.
One of the biggest changes is the permanent closure of The Animation Experience, which was removed during the refurbishment to make room for the new Bluey-focused offerings.
Jumping Junction
The former Affection Section petting zoo has been reimagined as Jumping Junction, a new Australian-themed animal area connected to Bluey’s Wild World.
While the old petting zoo atmosphere is gone, the new area fits much better with the Bluey theme and gives Animal Kingdom another unique animal experience that younger guests will likely love.
Rider Swap
Rider Swap is not applicable here, as this isn’t a traditional ride attraction. Families will experience Bluey’s Wild World together as a walk-through and play-based area.
Accessibility
The Wildlife Express Train and all areas of Conservation Station remain accessible for guests using wheelchairs and mobility devices. Cast Members are available to assist with train boarding if needed.
Because much of Bluey’s Wild World focuses on interactive play areas and open walkways rather than ride systems, most families should find the experience easy to navigate.
Height Requirement
None.
Steve Says
This is honestly one of the smartest additions Disney has made for younger kids at Animal Kingdom in years.
Animal Kingdom has always been an incredible park, but it has sometimes struggled with attractions specifically designed for preschool-aged children. Bluey’s Wild World fills that gap perfectly while still fitting surprisingly well with the park’s conservation and animal themes.
The biggest challenge right now is simply demand. Bluey is wildly popular, and the Virtual Queue has been filling extremely quickly since opening day. If this is important to your family, make sure everyone in your party understands how the queue works before your park day begins.
