Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station – Accessible by the Wildlife Express Train, this reimagined area combines interactive Bluey and Bingo activities with animal encounters and conservation experiences. Families can explore themed play areas, see Australian animals like kangaroos and wallabies at Jumping Junction, and still enjoy many of the veterinary and animal care experiences that originally made Rafiki’s Planet Watch a hidden gem at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

If you remember the former Rafiki’s Planet Watch experience, many of the conservation and animal care elements still remain as part of the updated area. The Wildlife Express Train continues to provide a behind-the-scenes glimpse into Disney’s animal care operations before arriving at Conservation Station.

Wildlife Express Train – The journey to Rafiki’s Planet Watch begins with a ride on the Wildlife Express Train, which provides a behind-the-scenes look at some of the park’s animal care areas. Trains run about every 10 minutes, and once you arrive, there is a five to seven-minute walk to Conservation Station after getting off the train.

Attractions in Africa

Festival of the Lion King – Immerse yourself in the magic of this Broadway-style show that celebrates the classic film “The Lion King” through music, dance, puppetry, and visual effects. It’s a moving tribute to the circle of life that resonates with guests of all ages.

Dining in Africa

Tusker House Restaurant – Join Donald Duck and friends for a safari-themed dining experience at this buffet-style restaurant. Tusker House offers a variety of African-inspired dishes alongside American favorites, making it a feast for the senses.

Harambe Market – Sample the flavors of Africa at this outdoor market that features multiple quick-service stations. From grilled meats and vegetarian options to refreshing drinks, Harambe Market provides a taste of African street food in a lively setting.

Mahindi – For those in search of a quick snack, Mahindi is the perfect stop. Located conveniently on the pathways of Africa, this snack cart offers freshly popped popcorn and cold beverages, making it ideal for guests looking for a light bite or refreshment as they explore the park.

Dawa Bar – Nestled in the heart of Harambe village, Dawa Bar is an inviting spot to relax and enjoy a selection of African beers, wines, and specialty cocktails. The bar’s shaded seating and rustic ambiance provide a peaceful retreat from the excitement of the park.

Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery – Start your day or grab an afternoon pick-me-up at Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery. Offering freshly brewed coffee, pastries, and a variety of baked goods, it’s a delightful spot for guests seeking a sweet treat or caffeine boost.

Tamu Tamu Refreshments – Discover the sweet side of Africa at Tamu Tamu, where you can indulge in desserts like the famous Dole Whip, available in traditional pineapple or with a dark rum or coconut rum floater. This quick-service location also offers savory snacks and refreshing beverages.

Harambe Fruit Market – Once known for its African-inspired dishes, this quick-service spot now features a more familiar menu of burgers, chicken, and salads—still in one of Animal Kingdom’s best themed dining areas.

Shopping in Africa

Mombasa Marketplace – Explore a treasure trove of African-inspired merchandise, from intricate wood carvings and woven baskets to themed apparel and jewelry. Mombasa Marketplace offers unique souvenirs that capture the spirit and craftsmanship of the continent.
