At this time, all Military Ticket sales are on hold.
The date on which military ticket sales will resume has not yet been announced.
Walt Disney World
Base Ticket Offices are being told the following:
The timeframe during which guests may use Previously Sold Walt Disney World 4, 5, or 6 Day Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets has been  extended through 26 September 2021 (instead of the 18 December 2020 expiration printed on the ticket).
When Salute Ticket sales do resume, the expiration date for Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets sold through December 15, 2020 will also be extended to 26 September 2021. (instead of December 18, 2020) This date will be printed on all newly sold Salute Tickets.
If a guest is unable to visit by September 26, 2021, Disney will allow the guest to apply the value of a wholly unused Ticket toward the purchase of a ticket for a future date.
It is good to finally have a real announced policy from Disney!
Disneyland
At this time we are not officially aware of the policy for the Disneyland Resort, but assume it will be the same.
Disneyland’s Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets have been extended through 16 December 2021. With the following blockout dates – 19 December 2020 through 4 January 2021 and 26 March through 11 April 2021.
No word what will happen if you can’t use by Dec 2021 from Disneyland.

Hi Steve, I have 2 wholly unused 2020 6-day Salute tickets that we likely won’t be able to use by this September. RE: “If a guest is unable to visit by September 26, 2021, Disney will allow the guest to apply the value of a wholly unused Ticket toward the purchase of a ticket for a future date.” Do you know how to get this done? I just chatted with Disney and they said “This Military ticket will just expire. We can’t get unused value toward another visit since it is a Military ticket.”

Disney is letting you upgrade them to 2021 tickets which extends your window through 17 Dec. But there is no 6-day 2021… So you’ll need to”down”grade to a 5-day hopper or hopper plus (and without the prices in front of me you might be due some back depending on your choice).
