This paves the way for Walt Disney World to do so also!
Prior to the Memorial Day weekend, Universal Orlando Resort dropped its face mask rule. Universal announced that face coverings would no longer be required for fully vaccinated guests, indoors or outdoors. Universal also said that they would not require proof of vaccination.
Mayor Jerry Demings has now stated in a press conference that Orange County will be totally dropping face mask mandates, physical distancing, and all other covid protocols on Saturday 5 June 2021.
MDT assumes that Walt Disney World will end their covid measures as well.
