The Shades of Green Resort, the Military owned and operated Resort on Walt Disney World Property discontinued their popular Stars and Stripes Passes.
These special tickets were a length of stay pass that included theme park admission for the number of days on the ticket, the ability to park hop, and a limited version of the Plus Option (they did not include Mini Golf) offered for Magic My Way Tickets.
The Stars and Stripes were cheaper than the corresponding length of a Regular Military Discounted Magic Your Way Ticket.
In February 2022, Shades of Green quietly discontinued this awesome ticket option that they had offered for well over 20 years.
The Change Was Coming

I’d been wondering why they did not begin offering a version of the Stars and Stripes with the Disney Genie+ option when they added this new option to their Regular Military Discounted Magic Your Way Tickets. It appears this is why.
These were unique tickets, not available or sold anywhere else, and I’m sure they required a special separate contract with Disney for Shades to offer them. So one or both of the parties must not have wanted to keep this ticket option available.
This move leaves just 2 types of Military Tickets for Walt Disney World instead of the 3 we had previously, the Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets and Regular Military Discounted Magic Your Way Tickets.

Dang, very disappointed to see the Stars and Stripes tickets discontinued. We always used them.
Disney is no longer military friendly. Shame. Disney is now corporation for the rich who can afford to go. Waly Disney would be sad to see what Disney has turned into.
