Planet Hollywood is a dining destination located in the heart of Disney Springs, one of the most popular entertainment districts in Orlando, Florida.
The restaurant is a part of the iconic Planet Hollywood brand, which was founded in 1991 by Hollywood legend, Robert Earl. With its flashy decor and a menu featuring classic American fare and celebrity-inspired dishes, Planet Hollywood is the perfect spot for a fun and memorable date night.
Where is Planet Hollywood?
Located in Disney Springs, Planet Hollywood is easily accessible and offers plenty of parking options. As you approach the restaurant, you’ll immediately notice its impressive facade adorned with neon lights. The interior is just as impressive, with walls covered in movie memorabilia, including costumes, props, and artwork from popular films and television shows.
Menu at Planet Hollywood
The menu at Planet Hollywood is a feast for the senses, with a wide range of dishes to choose from. Start your meal off with an appetizer like the Texas Tostados, which features crispy tortilla chips topped with spicy beef, cheddar cheese, and jalapeños. For the main course, you can choose from classic American fare like burgers and fries or opt for something a little more adventurous like the Chicken Fajitas or the World Famous Chicken Crunch, which features lightly breaded chicken strips served with honey mustard and hickory barbecue sauces.
In addition to its food menu, Planet Hollywood also offers a variety of drinks, including beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. The bar menu features classic cocktails like the Margarita and the Long Island Iced Tea, as well as some unique creations like the Berry Blast, which combines vodka, raspberry liqueur, and cranberry juice.
For beer lovers, Planet Hollywood offers a variety of domestic and imported brews, including Bud Light, Stella Artois, and Guinness. And if you’re in the mood for something non-alcoholic, the restaurant also offers a variety of soft drinks, juices, and specialty drinks like the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade.
One of the highlights of dining at Planet Hollywood is the celebrity-inspired dishes, which are inspired by some of the biggest names in Hollywood. The Guy Fieri Burger features a juicy beef patty topped with crispy onion rings, donkey sauce, and bacon, while the Caprese Salad pays homage to the famous Italian actress Sophia Loren.

Some of Our Favorite Props at Planet Hollywood!
When me and my husband went to Planet Hollywood, we didn’t go there for the food. The food was good, but not much different than a bougie Applebees. No, we went for the movie props! My husband and I love behind-the-scenes info with movies, especially the classics. Here are our favorite pieces that we found at Planet Hollywood:
Wizard of Oz
First – We were enamored to find Dorothy’s actual dress from the 1939 film, Wizard of Oz! Of course, it’s behind glass. It’s a movie treasure. Now, if they had the ruby slippers we would have lost it!
Home Alone
Who can forget the hilarious antics in the Home Alone series? None of the pranks hit (see what we did there?) quite like the paint cans on the stairs in the firstHome Alone, and you can see the actual movie prop cans!
League of Their Own
“We are a part of an All-American team, we come from cities near and far…” A League of Their Own is a movie classic with big names like Gina David, Madonna, and Rosie O’Donnell. Planet Hollywood has their classic Rockford Peach uniform! Can you imagine playing in a skirt?
Beetlejuice
Remember the dinner party scene where the jumbo shrimp grabbed the guests faces and pulled them into the plates? We never put too much thought into how that was accomplished, but we found out at our Planet Hollywood date! The shrimp were gloves!
Rocky IV
Arguably the best of all the Rocky movies, Rocky IV has a place of distinction in the restaurant. First you will see the bright yellow Italian Stallion robe and gloves, but next to it is the ostentatious Apollo “only in America” entrance outfit. Yup. That one. The last outfit he wore before his fight with the Russian.
Titanic
Perhaps the most divisive moment in movie history… We’re talking about the door in Titanic! You can see the actual prop at Planet Hollywood. My husband and I can’t agree: I say there was more than enough room for Jack! My husband says no dice. Tell us what you think in the comments!
Overall, Planet Hollywood is a great choice for a date night that’s sure to be unforgettable. Whether you’re a movie buff or just looking for a fun and lively dining experience, this iconic restaurant is the perfect place to make some memories with your special someone. So head to Disney Springs and experience all that Planet Hollywood has to offer!
