La Nouba the Cirque Du Soleil show located at Disney World’s Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) entertainment district continues to offer military discounted tickets!
La Nouba closes its curtains for the final time on 31 December 2017! No follow-on has yet been announced. See it while you still can!
La Nouba comes from the French phrase “faire la nouba,” which means to party, to live it up. And this fantastic show certainly does live it up!
The cast is made up of funambulists, dancers, tumblers, trapeze performers, a juggler, clowns, actors, acro-gymnasts, cyclists, musicians, vocalists, skippers and circus artists. It is spectacular!
If you have never seen a Cirque Du Soleil show I highly recommend you try this one out. It’s a great way to top off a day at Disney World. And the discount for military members makes it easier to afford.
My family saw it for the first time while staying at Shades of Green on our first ever multi-day Walt Disney World Trip.
There isn’t a bad seat in the house. We’ve been 3 or 4 times now over the years. We’ve sat in the back row, Front and Center, and in-between.
The 90-minute performance with no intermission, plays at 6:00 p.m. & 9:00 p.m. most Tuesdays through Saturdays. The show is dark on Sundays and Mondays and select periods throughout the year.
There are other Military Discounts at Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs!

Hi,
I saw this blog and I called and tried to purchase the tickets over the phone but the person I spoke to said that they were not aware of any military discounts. Do you know if we have to purchase it in person?
Thank you in advance for your time.
Connie. I’ll look into it for you, check back. Steve
I also called a few days ago and first the rather unfriendly person said that she didn’t know anything about it and those kinds of things could only be purchased at the box office on the day of the performance. After some persistence, I determined that a military discount exists, but can only be purchased in person on that day. I would love to have more details about how likely I might be to get a ticket (historical data on how many walk up tickets they sell). It would mean we would have to extend our trip a day, and I’m reluctant to pay for an extra night at a resort for something we might not be able to get.
I called the La Nouba Box Office number, which is actually a WDW line and confirmed all the info in the post above. SHe said it was all still valid
IM TRYING TO PURCHASE A COPLE OF TICKET BUT IM NOT SURE IF I QUALIFY FOR THE TICKETS IM A VET I DID NOT RETIRED BUT SPEND 15 YEARS IN THE MILITARY AND IM SERVICE CONNECTED I WILL LIKE TO KNOW IF I QUALIFY FOR THE DISCOUNT,
Hello ERIBERTO,
THey would want to see your military (retired) ID to qualify.
Where is the box office located?
I wished there was a way we could purchase these tickets over the phone.. wanted to surprise him with them. 🙁
Hi Christine,
Cirque du Soleil and its box office ate located at the very west end of Downtown Disney’s West Side.

How likely is a military meber (retired) to get a ticket for the performance they want to see of Cirque du Soleil if you can only purchase them at the box office ?
As I understand it there are usually open seats. THe last time I went there were quite a lot open.
And remember you can buy them in advance Evelyn.
Is the discount the same if purchased in person at the box office the day of and if purchased in advance via Shades of Green? Thanks so much!
Hi Allie,
No it wasn’t the last time that I checked. It was not as good a discount at the box office.
