The Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels are a collection of third-party hotels located along Hotel Plaza Boulevard, which is adjacent to the Disney Springs Entertainment Area.
These hotels have been around under various individual names and different hotel chain ownership since very early in Walt Disney World’s History. When WDW just had three of its own resorts and a campground these hotels provided nearby, cheaper, overflow guest rooms.
The Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels are national chain hotels from brands you’ll recognize. They are not owned or operated by Disney World.
These resorts have their own bus system, which has fewer buses and scheduled runs, which causes longer waits than the Disney World bus system.
