Explore a treasure trove of galactic relics in this mysterious Black Spire Outpost shop.
Location
📍 Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is located in the heart of Galaxy’s Edge, between Ronto Roasters and Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. You’ll spot the entrance under a large, carved archway flanked by stone pillars and alien script.
Ambiance
This isn’t just another theme park gift shop. The Den of Antiquities is a story-rich, immersive space packed wall to wall with relics from across the galaxy.
Inside, you’ll find:
- Busts of ancient Jedi
- Mounted creatures and taxidermy-style displays
- Lightsaber hilts in glass cases
- Sith and Jedi symbols carved into the walls
- And above it all, the mysterious Dok-Ondar, a life-sized, animatronic Ithorian trader who watches over his shop and mumbles in his native language
The lighting is moody, the space is tight, and the attention to detail is incredible. Even if you’re not shopping, it’s worth a walkthrough just for the atmosphere.
Merchandise
Dok-Ondar specializes in highly themed, lore-rich Star Wars merchandise, especially items that appeal to fans of Jedi, Sith, and galactic history. Some of the most popular items include:
- Legacy Lightsabers – Character hilts like Luke Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Darth Vader, Rey, Leia, and others. These are high-quality replicas and come in a display box. The blade is sold separately and can be added at checkout.
- Kyber Crystals – Used to power holocrons (and lightsabers at Savi’s). Each color has its own significance, and some contain rare character voices.
- Holocrons – Jedi and Sith data cubes that respond to kyber crystals with different audio messages.
- Robes and Apparel – Jedi and Sith robes, tunics, and accessories.
- Decor and Collectibles – Wall hangings, busts, ancient-looking statues, and mysterious artifacts (some of which reference deep Star Wars lore).
- Jewelry and Relics – Sith rings, pendants, and trinkets themed to in-universe factions.
Note: Not everything on display is for sale. Some items (like the taxidermy creatures or mounted helmets) are purely decorative and part of the storytelling.
Prices & Purchasing
Prices vary depending on what you’re after:
- Small items like jewelry or kyber crystals may start around $20–30
- Holocrons are typically around $50–60
- Legacy Lightsabers usually cost $169.99–$199.99 for the hilt
- Lightsaber blades are sold separately for around $50
- Robes and high-end collectibles can range up to $300+
There are no discounts on most of these items—not for military, Annual Passholders, or Disney Visa cardholders. However, shipping is available, and many guests choose to send items home, especially larger or more fragile pieces.
Military Tips
Dok-Ondar’s Den is a great place for military guests and families who love Star Wars and want a collectible that goes beyond the standard souvenirs. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Legacy Lightsabers are a great alternative to building one at Savi’s Workshop. They’re slightly more affordable and come with a cool display box.
- If you’re traveling with kids, consider browsing first to avoid impulse grabs—some items are delicate or pricey.
- No military discounts are available, so plan for full-price purchases.
- The shop can get very crowded between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. If possible, visit early in the morning or during late afternoon to avoid peak crowds.
- This is a good stop while waiting for Mobile Orders at nearby Ronto Roasters or during a break between Lightning Lane selections.
Even if you’re not buying, it’s worth stepping inside to soak up the atmosphere. The story and environment make it feel like you’ve stepped into a Star Wars museum.
Wrap-Up
Whether you’re a casual fan or a die-hard Star Wars collector, Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities is one of the most immersive shops in all of Walt Disney World. It’s full of surprises, packed with lore, and a great place to pick up a meaningful souvenir that will spark conversations long after your trip.
