Disney’s EPCOT theme park continues to educate and entertain visitors with its latest addition, the Journey of Water Inspired Moana.

This new attraction is an immersive experience where you explore the journey of water from the rain to the sea, offering a unique blend of entertainment and education for visitors of all ages.

The Journey of Water Inspired by Moana attraction in EPCOT is not a traditional ride but rather an interactive walkthrough experience. It invites guests to embark on a mesmerizing journey through a lush, tropical landscape reminiscent of Moana’s world. As visitors meander along the winding paths, they encounter enchanting water features, interactive elements, and captivating storytelling inspired by the themes of nature and conservation.

Children and adults are encouraged to interact with the water features which are at kid height.

Walt Disney World strives to be as inclusive as possible with all of their attractions, however, the Journey of Water Inspired by Moana has some restrictions. Per Walt Disney World’s website, “Wheelchair access is available on the dry path only. Service animals are permitted with caution in some areas; service animals must remain on the dry path.”

Situated within the World Nature neighborhood of EPCOT, the Journey of Water Inspired by Moana attraction complements the park’s overarching theme of celebrating the wonders of the natural world. Journey of Water is located across the way from The Seas with Nemo and Friends, between the two you can discover all you ever wanted to know about water, the sea, and every creature living within it.

The newest EPCOT attraction, the Journey of Water Inspired by Moana really embraces the heart of EPCOT’s mission. EPCOT, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow was designed with the idea of combining both entertainment and education. It was also designed to share with guests the wonder and beauty of the world to help expand the efforts of conservation. This newest attraction perfectly hits the mark in a new and creative way.
