Located in the middle of Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom is the Magic Carpets of Aladdin.

📍 Magic Kingdom | Adventureland
This family friendly attraction in Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom will look familiar to you because it is the same ride mechanism as the infamous Dumbo ride, only instead of little elephants, you will ride high in the sky on the magic carpet!
Though it’s a simple ride, don’t pass it up because you can see all of Adventureland! Disney is all about finding pleasure in simple things, after all.
The Ride
Each magic carpet features a front and back bench seat. The space is very generous since there is no lap bar system. Each bench can comfortably fit 2 people, so parents can easily ride with their child.
Magic Carpets of Aladdin lasts approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds, giving you plenty of time to get the perfect bird’s eye view of Adventureland.
PRO-TIP: After you put in your Mobile Order for a Dole Whip at Aloha Isle, be prepared to wait. Sure, the wait of a Mobile Order will wait significantly less than a line, but still. We always put in our Mobile Order and hop in line for the Magic Carpets of Aladdin to have a little fun while you wait!
The Queue
The queue for Magic Carpets of Aladdin is completely outdoors and very exposed to the sun. Watch out! Just like Genie told you, “Watch out for the camel. He spits.” Yup. You see that golden carmel statue in front of the attraction spits!
Wait times for Magic Carpets of Aladdin are never particularly high. The typical standby line is 35 minutes and below, though unless you are the biggest Aladdin fan in the world, Magic Carpets of Aladdin just isn’t worth a 35 minute wait.
We don’t really recommend using Lightning Lane Multi Pass to snag a Lightning Lane as the wait time for this ride is short and works well between other Lightning Lane reservations.
Height Requirement
There is no height requirement for The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, making it a fun experience for guests of all ages!
Rider Swap
Rider Swap is not offered for this attraction. Its gentle, family-friendly nature makes it a great choice for everyone to enjoy together.
Accessibility
Guests using wheelchairs or ECVs must transfer to the ride vehicle to experience The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. The queue is accessible, and Cast Members are available to assist with boarding if needed.
