Unique Experience: Amphicar Tours
One of the most distinctive features of The BOATHOUSE is its fleet of restored Amphicars—classic car–boat hybrids that can drive straight into the water. Guests can purchase a 20-minute guided tour of Lake Buena Vista that departs from the dock just outside the restaurant.
These rides are a separate charge from your meal and are subject to weather and availability, but they provide an unforgettable way to see Disney Springs from the water.
Reservations
Advance reservations are highly recommended, especially for dinner, weekends, and busy holiday periods. Walk-up seating may be available, but wait times can be long during peak times.
If you’re flexible and don’t mind bar or outdoor seating, the Dock Bar can sometimes be a good option for a more spontaneous visit.

We were a little hesitant because of the price, but decided to try the Boathouse for a special occasion. It was incredible! My husband and I decided to share the ribeye and crab cakes. Asparagus for our side, it was hands down the best steak we’ve ever had! This place will always be on our list every time we visit Disney!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it Donna!
I have eaten here many times throughout the years. While I would certainly recommend it as the food is pretty good, it is not great as the price would suggest. However it is a DISNEY restaurant with DISNEY prices. I have never received or asked for a Military Discount though.
