The Magic Kingdoms Sleepy Hollow Refreshments

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments is a small unassuming snack stand in Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom.

Don’t let its size fool you, this quick-service restaurant in Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom is one of the best quick-service stands in all of Walt Disney World.

Sleepy Hollow is now available for Mobile Orders. This is HUGE! Because everything on the menu is made to order, the lines do not move quickly. Use Mobile Order and you can bypass the line!

Breakfast

It’s no secret that there are slim pickins’ in the parks for breakfast, but Sleepy Hollow not only has breakfast offerings… It has THE BEST breakfast in the Magic Kingdom. The famous Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich is what dreams are made of. A hot, freshly made buttery waffle filled with strawberries, blueberries, and bananas, all held in place with a healthy dose of Nutella, folded up like a taco… Yes, please!

Disney goes back and forth with the availability of this waffle. Sometimes it is only available until 11:00 and other times it is available all day. Be sure to check My Disney Experience to know before you go! Either way, the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich is $8.49, and large enough to share.

Other breakfast items are traditional Mickey waffles, or Mickey waffles with powdered sugar and strawberries. As much as we love a Mickey waffle, trust us and go with the Nutella option!

Snacks

After breakfast, Sleepy Hollow is a snack stand offering satisfying treats to not only make your tummy happy, but also keep hunger at bay. Sleepy Hollow is your Magic Kingdom destination for a traditional funnel cake, with or without ice cream on top, but it is also an excellent location for savory snacks as well.

A long time favorite savory snack at Sleepy Hollow is the Sweet and Spicy Waffle Chicken Sandwich. This is one of those warm buttery waffles filled with fried chicken tenders tossed in a sweet heat sauce, and then topped with a crunchy coleslaw. The word “spicy” is a little misleading. It is more a wisp of heat to offset the sweetness. We would rank it a tomato on a scoville scale.

Sleepy Hollow likes to play around with fun items in their menus from time to time. In the past we have seen fresh cooked churro ice cream sandwiches, pretzel dogs, ham & prosciutto sandwiches, and waffle breakfast sandwiches. Currently, Sleepy Hollow is offering hand-dipped corn dogs with fresh chips.

Sleepy Hollow PRO-TIP!

Lines to get coffee at the Main Street Bakery, AKA Starbucks, are always long. They do not go down. The Joffrey’s cart in Tomorrowland also typically has a 10-15 minute wait. You rope dropped Magic Kingdom bright and early in the morning and you need a caffeine fix, stat! Plus, it’s hot, so it would be magical to have a nice iced coffee. Sleepy Hollow sells Joffrey’s Iced Coffees in Mocha and Vanilla!

Skip the lines by Mobile Ordering yourself a nice coffee and stroll past the long line to pick it up. This trick also works for Friar’s Nook in the Magic Kingdom. Note: You cannot use Starbucks’ Mobile Order in any of the parks.
