Welcome to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, a beloved dining destination located in the heart of Magic Kingdom!

📍 Magic Kingdom | Tomorrowland

This quick-service restaurant in Tomorrowland has been a staple of the park for many years, offering hungry guests a variety of delicious meals and snacks to fuel their adventures in the happiest place on Earth.

Tomorrowland Dining

As you approach Cosmic Ray’s, you’ll immediately notice the vibrant colors and playful theming that make this restaurant stand out from the rest. The interior is decked out with sleek metal paneling and glowing neon lights. It’s hard not to feel a sense of excitement and wonder as you step inside, ready to explore the many culinary delights offered.

Cosmic Ray’s is one of the largest and busiest fast food restaurants in the world! Disney calls their fast food restaurants Quick Service.

In recent years an outside covered dining area was added to supplement the very large interior dining rooms.

Menu

One of the things that sets Cosmic Ray’s apart from other quick-service restaurants in the park is its menu. From classic American fare like burgers and chicken strips to more unique options like noodle salads and chicken sandwiches, there’s something for everyone here. The restaurant has multiple ordering stations and two spacious indoor seating areas to handle the large crowds that often gather.

Mobile Order

Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe is a part of Disney’s Mobile Order program, and boy, do we recommend using it. This restaurant is HUGE and often has a long, long, looooong line. But you are a smart Disney traveler who understands the benefits of Mobile Order, so place your order via the My Disney Experience app and hold your head high as you walk past all of the Mobile Order snubbers!

“Live” Entertainment

But what really makes Cosmic Ray’s special is the entertainment. As you chow down on your meal, you’ll be treated to live music from the one and only Sonny Eclipse, a singing alien who hails from the planet Zork. Sonny is a fan favorite among park guests, known for his catchy tunes and quirky personality. He even has his own dedicated stage, complete with a giant animatronic keyboard and a backdrop of twinkling stars.

As you listen to Sonny’s tunes and take in the lively atmosphere of Cosmic Ray’s, it’s easy to forget that you’re in the middle of a bustling theme park.

Whether you’re visiting Disney World for the first time or you’re a seasoned park veteran, Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe is a must-visit dining destination. With its delicious food, out-of-this-world theming, and unforgettable entertainment, it’s no wonder that this restaurant has become a beloved part of the Magic Kingdom experience. An interesting historical note is that Cosmic Ray’s was where our founder Steve began working in the Magic Kingdom when he separated form active duty and switched to the Reserves. Back then, prior to a name change the location was called the Tomorrowland Terrace.
