We are not getting near the discounts on rooms as we did last year. Some resorts no discounts at all. Thanks for the blue Christmas Disney.

If you haven’t already checked, I just got off the phone with them. They said they’re unable to “officially” confirm anything until Disney makes the announcement, but did confirm that my order form and any others for the 2022 Salute tickets are in a special folder and will be receiving phone calls in the order the forms were received as soon as Disney clears them to do so.

You are the man, Steve! Thanks for keeping us posted. We are planning a trip in late Jan / early Feb, so this will ensure we can get our tickets prior to the 60 day window for dining reservations. Just in the nick of time!

On the 16th, do you think it is wise just to call as soon as they open up the phone lines? Or should we wait until Disney physically posts it on their website or we hear from you? I know from reading all of your posts that you said sometimes it can take some time for word to reach the phone lines. What is a good plan of action for that day?

Military Discount 11/16
Just called (0723 Central) NOTHING available at Pop 1-25 to 2-3
None of the values come up for Military discount I was told
Next is Coronado
Just called the reservation line (1530 MST) after an hour wait I was able to have them apply the room discount to my current reservation ( I believe they cancelled it and then reinput it for me). It was very easy and it cut $683 off of our reservation at the Animal Kingdom Lodge

Sadly, this feels like a bait and switch on Disney’s part. Today when we called for end of January rates, not one hotel was available for military salute rates.

Remember, you can always buy it day-by-day through the app, and do so only for the days that you want it, which is what I’m recommending right now.

Well the 16th of November 2021 has come and gone. Still no news on when tickets will be available. I am going to a conference in January and want to get tickets at the discount. Hoping they get the discounts released soon.
