This morning Disneyland Announced their 2024 Disney Armed Forces Salute.
(14 November 2023) – Updated 16 Nov. for blockout dates.
THis follows Disney World announcing last month.
What was announced this morning:
- Disneyland Salute Tickets prices and dates have been announced for 2024
- Disneyland Salute Room dates have been announced for 2024
Tickets
Ticket Prices
Disneyland has announced 3 and 4 hoppers and Park Hopper Tickets, again with or without Genie+.
Yes the very popular 6-Day Salute Tickets are back!!!
2024 Salute Ticket Prices:
- 3-day Park Hopper – $269
- 3-day Park Hopper with Genie+ – $359
- 4-day Park Hopper – $315
- 4-day Park Hopper with Genie+ – $435
Dates
The Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets may be used:
- January 2 through December 13, 2024
The Ticket Offer ends on December 13, 2024 and tickets will not be valid after that date. Regular Military Discounted Disneyland Tickets are always available and can be used during blockouts and after the offer ends!
Blockout Dates
So initially, Disneyland had blockout dates posted for tickets on their site. There were the exact same dates as this year, which is odd, they usually shift some.
However the day after the announcement, they were removed, and Disneyland states there are no ticket blackouts for 2024.
Tickets Go On Sale
Tickets are supposed to go on sale today.
Purchase now through December 10, 2024.
However keep in mind that your ticket office may not have them now or for quite a while. This is typical that they all get them at different times.
If you’d like to get them ASAP, you should contact a Military Ticket Office that ships. Shades of Green or Patrick are recommended!
Theme Park Reservations
Disneyland has posted that Theme Park Reservations will continue to be needed in 2024!
Rooms
Disney Armed Forces Salute Room Discounts are available January 2 through December 13, 2024—when you book by December 10, 2024.
Here are two things to keep in mind about Disney Armed Forces Salute Room Discounts:
- Military Room Discounts may not always be available for your specific resort, room type, and dates
- They can vary between zero and 30% (Paradise Pier), 35% (Disneyland Hotel), and 40% Grand Californian)

Hi Steve! I can’t find those blockout dates on Disney’s website for 2024. Military discounts on rooms were available when I called for April 10-14th and the cast member I talked to didn’t see anything about military salute tickets being unavailable at that time. Just wanting to double check!

Well… They were there on the Disneyland site the day the offer came out, I swear!
You are correct, they are not there now. It was a little odd that they were the exact same calendar number days as last year. They usually shift a little each year.
I’m wondering if they were carried over by mistake from this year when they copied and pasted.
I chatted with Disneyland Guest Communications yesterday while waiting on my flight to WDW. And I asked why they were there yesterday but not today. She just kept telling me there were no blockouts on the page. I asked if she had another document that confirmed this and she just said the site didn’t show any.
I’ve heard elsewhere that there are none this year. So I’m thinking it was an error when they first posted. It is odd however as this is the first time that DL did not have blackouts.
I have however removed them from this post and others.

So confusing sometimes. Does the salute offer work this year for Disneyland with 100% service connected disability? We were able to do WDW this year but I’m not sure if Disneyland does it. If so what ID is needed?

Yes, 100% DAVPRm are eligible for the Disney Armed Forces Salute on both coasts.

Do you know if the tickets have to be used within a timeframe (ie 15 days from being activated) or if I take my first trip in June would I be able to use the same tickets for a trip later that year (October)?

Unlike the Regular Disney Military Ticket Discount for Walt Disney World and Disneyland, Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets are valid for the life of the individual offer period. You can ues them in June and October!
If my husband buys the tickets for our family does he have to be with us to use the tickets? Wondering if I would need a military ID? He’s in the reserves still, but we don’t live near a base so I no longer have an ID. And he doesn’t want to go with!

I was always in one kind of full time reserve position or another, so we always lived by the base. Getting an ID for my wife was no issue. But you are in a jam…
A current ID, his or yours is required to activate the Disney Armed Forces Salute tickets in person at Disney.
The Regular Disney Military Ticket Discount for Walt Disney World and Disneyland do not require an ID or activation and can be used by anybody. But ]they offer way less savings.
