Disney appears to be asking military guests whether they would purchase the new Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket again if it were offered in the future.
This is the ticket that some people incorrectly call the Disney Military Annual Pass.
This is interesting — and potentially very important — because while Disney routinely surveys Guests about many parts of the vacation experience, a survey specifically targeted at users of a military ticket offer is not something we have seen before.
In fact, to the best of my knowledge, this is unprecedented.
Reports have started appearing in military Disney planning groups from Guests who purchased the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket. These Guests are receiving an email from the Disney Destinations Research Team asking them to complete a short online survey about their experience.
The email begins:
Thank you for purchasing the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket.
We’d greatly appreciate it if you could take a few moments to share your feedback by completing a brief online survey. Your thoughts and experiences are invaluable as we continue working to provide our Guests with the ultimate vacation experience.
One question that has been shared publicly asks:
If offered in the future, how likely would you be to purchase the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket again?
The answer choices shown were:
- Definitely would
- Probably would
- Might or might not
- Probably would not
- Definitely would not
The survey has been reported to be 8-pages of military-focused questions!
Readers Are Reporting More Military-Specific Survey Questions
Since this article was first published, several readers have reported that the survey is much longer than the single question initially shared online, and that it appears to be heavily focused on military ticket use and future vacation behavior.
One reader reported being asked whether they would consider purchasing a Disney Annual Pass instead because of the additional perks Annual Passholders receive. They were also asked whether purchasing the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket was a direct factor in changing their plans from one Walt Disney World trip in 2026 to four planned trips.
Another reader reported receiving a similar question asking whether they would have planned more than one trip in 2026 if this new ticket had not been available. Their answer was no — they originally had one trip planned, but now have five trips planned because of the ticket.
These reader reports are especially interesting because they suggest Disney may not only be asking whether military Guests like the new ticket, but also how the ticket is affecting travel behavior. In other words, Disney may be looking at whether this offer is encouraging additional visits that would not otherwise have happened.
That is a very important distinction. If military families are adding multiple trips because of this ticket, Disney may be evaluating more than just ticket revenue. They may also be considering the additional resort stays, dining, merchandise, parking, Lightning Lane purchases, and other vacation spending that can come with repeat visits.
Why This Survey Matters
Disney surveys Guests all the time. You may receive surveys after a resort stay, a theme park visit, a dining experience, or even after using certain planning tools.
But this appears to be different.
This survey is specifically tied to the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket. That is significant because Disney does not normally send out military ticket-specific surveys, at least not in any widespread or publicly visible way.
That makes this especially noteworthy because 2026 is the first time Disney has ever offered a ticket quite like this.
While Disney has offered military discounts for many years, the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket is a completely new type of offer. For many military families, it functions almost like a lower-cost military annual pass during its valid period, encouraging multiple trips instead of a single vacation.
Because this is the first year Disney has tested a military ticket structured this way, the survey becomes especially important. Disney appears to be directly measuring how military families are using the ticket, how much they value it, and whether there is strong interest in seeing it continue in the future.
Could This Mean Disney Is Considering Keeping the Ticket?
Maybe — but we need to be careful not to read too much into it.
The most interesting phrase in the survey question is:
“If offered in the future…”
That wording does not confirm that Disney will offer this ticket again. It does not mean the ticket is guaranteed to return. It also does not mean Disney has already made a decision.
What it does show is that Disney is actively gathering feedback from the exact audience that used the ticket.
That matters.
The Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket is a very different kind of military ticket offer. For many eligible military families, it functions almost like a lower-cost military annual pass during its valid dates. Families who might normally take one Walt Disney World trip during the year may be considering multiple visits because of this ticket.
Disney is likely interested in how military families are using it, whether they value it, and whether they would buy it again.
This Does Not Guarantee the Ticket Will Return
As exciting as this survey is, it is important to stay grounded.
Disney sending a survey does not automatically mean the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket will be extended, renewed, or turned into an annual offering.
Surveys are one way Disney measures Guest interest, satisfaction, and future demand. Disney may use this information alongside many other factors, including ticket usage, park attendance patterns, blockout date performance, and overall business goals.
Still, for military families who love this ticket, the survey is a very encouraging sign that Disney is paying attention.
Check Your Email If You Purchased the Ticket
If you purchased the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket, check your email for a possible survey invitation from the Disney Destinations Research Team.
If you receive one, this is a good opportunity to share your honest feedback directly with Disney.
If you love this ticket and would like to see Disney continue offering something similar in the future, make sure your opinion is heard.
My Take
I think this is one of the most interesting military Disney developments we have seen in a while.
The ticket itself was already a major surprise. Now Disney is asking military Guests whether they would purchase it again if it were offered in the future.
That does not mean anything is guaranteed.
But it does suggest Disney is watching this offer closely — and that feedback from military families could matter.
I’ll keep monitoring this and will update this page if more survey questions or additional details become available.
And if you receive the survey, please share more about the other questions, if any, in the comments! (or send me screenshots, please!!!)
