Location
The Grand Californian is located on the west side of the main Disneyland area. Downtown Disney borders the hotel to the north, California Adventure to the east and south, and Disneyland Drive to the west.
Transportation
All Disneyland guest areas can be reached by walking. The Grand Californian is the closest hotel to both of the theme parks.
There is even a Direct back entrance to Disney California Adventure, so you can skip the main entrance. This back entrance enters the park in the Grizzly Peak area. Note: Starting on 1 January 2026, the Grand Californian will again be sharing its back entrance to California Adventure with Pixar Place (as it did in the past), which will increase the length of morning lines to get through security and into the park!
Our thoughts

| This Disney Resort Hotel is a Military Disney Tips Favorite Resort! |
This is Disneyland priciest hotel due to its convenience and splendor. You’ll pay a few hundred dollars more per night here than at the Disneyland Hotel. We will definitely go back when we want to splurge.
