Learn About All the Disney Park Hopper Options

Here we explain the various Disney Ticket Options that Include Park Hopping.

Some of the options apply to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, while some just Disney World. Also there are military considerations as well. We’ll discuss all of these as we go along.

Disney calls their single park per day tickets, Base Tickets, as they are the base you can add various options onto.

There are up to 3 options that you can add onto your Base Ticket, these are the Park Hopper Option, the Water Parks and Sports Option, and the Park Hopper Plus Option.

Park Hopper Option

The Park Hopper allows guests to visit multiple parks on the same day. You may enter as many theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom) as many times as you’d like each day for the number of days on the ticket. Applies to Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets.

Water Parks and Sports Option

The Water Parks and Sports Option allows entry to 1 theme park per day plus a specific number of entries into the following locations:

• Blizzard Beach Water Park
• Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
• NBA Experience
• ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
• Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
• Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course
• Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course

Applies to Walt Disney World Tickets only.

Park Hopper Plus Option

The Park Hopper Plus Option allows entry to multiple theme parks per day plus a specific number of entries into the following locations:

• Blizzard Beach Water Park
• Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
• NBA Experience
• ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
• Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course
• Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course
• Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course

Applies to Walt Disney World and Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets.

How These Entries Work

Water Park and Sports & Plus entries are separate from the Theme Park Days on your ticket.

Think of them as two separate tickets in one. One with the number of theme park days purchased and a second with the same number of Plus entries.

Water Park and Sports & Plus entries equal the number of days on your ticket.

Water Park and Sports & Plus entries can be used on the same or different days as theme park days and can be used multiple times on the same day if you wish.

An Example – You could go to a theme park in the morning (using up a theme park day), then after lunch go to Blizzard Beach Water Park (using 1 Plus Entry), then prior to 4pm play a round of mini golf at Fantasia Gardens (using a 2nd Plus Entry).

Water Park and Sports & Plus entries are by the day; you may leave and then return the same day.

Special Military Notes

At Walt Disney World the Special Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets come only in Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus varieties. At Disneyland only the Park Hopper is available.

Regular Military Discounted Disney Tickets come in Base, Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus varieties at Disney World and Base and Park Hopper at Disneyland.
