The great people at Legoland Florida continue their special Free Ticket Offer and discounts for military members.
Before we dive into the discounts it must be mentioned that the great folks at Legoland, just like most civilians don’t know much about military statuses and IDs. They do not know that there is no difference between the CAC of an active duty member and a reserve member, or that many reservists perform more duty that their active counterparts. And so they say one of their offers is for “active” military not knowing there is no such thing as an active ID anymore and that they can’t tell the difference by your CAC.

LEGOLAND Orlando Theme Park
Legoland is a modern theme park with all sorts of fun things to do. There are roller coasters, rides, movies and shows, and fantastic sculptures made out of LEGOS (see the Space Shuttle below). Legoland is divided into “Lands” just like other theme parks, with names like LEGO® City, Duplo Village, and Imagination Zone. Legoland has it’s own attached water park.
Legoland was built on the grounds of one of Florida’s original tourist attractions, Cypress Gardens. The original Cypress Gardens Botanical Gardens are still there for you to tour. There is even a LEGO Southern Belle. Real life Southern Belle’s were the “Characters” in the original Cypress Gardens.
“We are pleased to continue our Military Appreciation Days. This is a great way for LEGOLAND Florida to say thank you for the selfless service our military men and women provide every day throughout the year,” said Kim Isemann, director of sales and marketing at LEGOLAND Florida.

my reservists do more than their active counterparts? You a damn lie. No weekend warrior doesn’t anything near what active does, deployments aside. Go wash your mouth out with soap.
Hello Alex,
Thanks for sharing your limited knowledge on the subject. So well stated, you are so articulate in presenting your perspective.
However you obviously have limited experience and field of view. For example, Reserve flying squadrons provide 60-70% of the US military’s airlift. The active duty gets paid to sit at home, do additional duties, college, community service, etc. while the reservists (who have way more time and experience on their aircraft, sometimes decades more) have to fly to get paid (hence doing most of the work).
Do you know if the LEGOLAND hotel discounts for military can be used to reserve more than one room?
Hi Becca,
I went to their military room page and entered enough people to need 2 rooms and got no results. When I backed the number down to 4 people I got an offer.

If a military member needs more than a 1 day ticket, does the family member ticket price apply for a 2nd and 3rd day? My son has a season pass and my husband is active duty military.
Hi Wendy,
Yes, if you need more than the free 1-day, you’d but whatever you need of the regular military discounted ones.
Hi, do you know if the process is similar to Disney World where you have to “activate” the tickets you purchased on base once you arrive on the property? (What I’m getting at is, if you purchase the tickets on base, do you then have to show a military ID again at the legoland gate?)
Hi Lindsey,
Legoland tickets purchased on base are just like regular tickets.
Only Disney’s Salute Tickets and Universal’s Freedom Pass have an activation (while their regular military tickets don’t).
Does the military discount on tickets apply to family as well?
Hi Jourdan,
Yes, please look I the section titled: Retiree, Military Family, Guest, and Veteran Offers
If I purchase the Legoland + waterpark ticket from ITT can I use my 2nd free day at the Peppa Pig park?
Hi Stephany,
Sorry, outside my knowledge base. Call your ITT or Legoland to ask.
