As the main entrance for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Hollywood Boulevard sets the stage for a day filled with excitement and entertainment. This bustling thoroughfare pays homage to the classic era of Hollywood, with its art deco architecture and neon signs that transport guests to the heyday of the silver screen. Here, every detail, from the music to the decor, is carefully curated to immerse you in the charm and elegance of a bygone era, making it the perfect introduction to a park where movie magic is around every corner.
The Ambiance of Hollywood Boulevard
Strolling down Hollywood Boulevard is like walking through a movie set of the 1930s, with its vintage storefronts, palm-lined streets, and the majestic replica of the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre standing proudly at the end. Be sure to look on top of the first building on the right as you start up the boulevard to see the billboard for the the Hollywood Canteen – Serviceman’s Entertainment (not an actual location in the park, just a nod to the military).

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway –Â Nestled inside the iconic Chinese Theatre, this family-friendly attraction takes guests on a whimsical journey into the cartoon world with Mickey, Minnie, and friends. It’s a groundbreaking ride that combines stunning visuals, animatronics, and immersive storytelling, marking it as the first ride at Walt Disney World dedicated to Mickey Mouse himself.

Shopping in Hollywood Boulevard
Sid Cahuenga’s One-of-a-Kind –Â This shop is a treasure trove of Hollywood memorabilia, offering a unique collection of movie props, signed photos, and vintage collectibles. Each item tells a story, making Sid Cahuenga’s a fascinating stop for cinephiles and collectors alike, eager to own a piece of entertainment history.
Mickey’s of Hollywood – As one of the first shops you’ll encounter, this store offers a wide range of Disney merchandise, including apparel, accessories, and souvenirs featuring your favorite characters. The art deco-inspired interior and exterior design evoke the charm of early Hollywood, making shopping here an extension of the boulevard’s immersive experience.
Keystone Clothiers –Â For fans of superhero action, Keystone Clothiers specializes in merchandise from the Marvel Universe. From apparel to collectibles, this is the place to find gear featuring your favorite Avengers, making it a must-stop for Marvel enthusiasts.
Celebrity 5 & 10 –Â For those looking to bring a bit of Hollywood elegance into their homes, Celebrity 5 & 10 features an exquisite selection of Disney-themed home goods, kitchenware, and decorative items. Crossroads of the World – Located just inside the entrance, here you can pick up souvenirs, autograph books, pens, film, disposable cameras, postcards, rainwear and sundries.
Oscar’s Super Service – Themed as a classic gas station, Oscar’s Super Service offers a nostalgic throwback to the golden age of Hollywood transportation. Here, guests can find automotive-themed Disney merchandise, including apparel and accessories that pay homage to the era when cars became an icon of American freedom and adventure. Oscar’s is also located just inside the entrance (on the right) and is where you can rent Disney strollers, scooters, and wheelchairs. You can even buy an umbrella stroller here!
Hollywood Studios Layout
Hollywood Studios uses a modified Disney Park layout with a single entrance at one end of a land that leads into the park with a hub at the far end of that land, and the other lands arranged in a random manner around the and to the rear of entrance.
Hollywood Boulevard is the entrance land and connects to some of the other lands, which can then be used to get to the others.
Hollywood Boulevard connects to:
- Sunset Boulevard – Connects only to Hollywood Boulevard
- Echo Lake – Connects to Commissary Lane and Grand Avenue
- Commissary Lane – Connects to Echo Lake and Grand Avenue
- Animation Courtyard – Connects to Pixar Plaza and Toy Story Land
