Step inside the Mexico Pavilion’s pyramid, and you’ll discover a hidden oasis for tequila enthusiasts—La Cava del Tequila! This intimate bar is the perfect escape from the Florida heat, offering handcrafted margaritas, premium tequila flights, and an ambiance that transports you straight to a rustic cantina in Mexico.

La Cava del Tequila (The Tequila Cave) is located inside the pyramid of the Mexico Pavilion in World Showcase. Tucked away near the entrance to the Gran Fiesta Tour attraction, this bar is a well-loved secret among Disney foodies.

Ambiance

The cozy, dimly lit interior is inspired by traditional Mexican haciendas, featuring rustic wooden beams, warm lighting, and walls lined with shelves of premium tequila. The atmosphere is lively but intimate, making it a great spot to take a break and savor a truly authentic drink.

There is a long bench along one wall with tables and corresponding chairs, several freestanding tables, a couple of high-tops without seating, and a standing-only bar.

Drink Menu

Tequila is the star of the show here, with a selection that includes over 200 varieties! Whether you’re in the mood for a classic margarita, a unique flavor twist, or a full tequila flight, there’s something for everyone. Popular picks include:

• Dos Hombres Avocado (Avocado Margarita) – A creamy, refreshing blend of tequila, melon liqueur, fresh avocado, and a hibiscus salt rim.
• La Paloma – Lalo blanco tequila, Fever-Tree grapefruit soda, fresh lime, Dos Hombres mezcal and Tajín chile-lime powder rim
• El Diablo Margarita – A spicy-sweet concoction with serrano-infused tequila, crème de cassis, and lime juice.
• Tequila Flights – Choose from blanco, reposado, and añejo tequila selections for a guided tasting experience.

No reservations are needed! This is a walk-up lounge, though seating is limited. It’s a popular spot, so you might have to wait a bit during peak times.

A margarita is a great way to start your day touring EPCOT! That is, if you fall into the Mexoci camp of where to start your day in the World Showcase, Mexico or Canada? Plus, it’s nice and cool inside the pavilion. If you can snag a seat, it’s a great spot to enjoy a cold drink and some chips. I recommend the Corn Old Fashioned for those looking for something different in the Old Fashioned category.
