Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is one of the hottest rides in the Magic Kingdom, and continues to be a favorite for people of all ages.

This Fantasyland attraction is technically a roller coaster, but it is so smooth that almost anyone can ride it!
Heigh-ho, it’s off to work we go! Get ready to head into the mines with Dopey, Doc, and the rest of the gang to gather up all the gems. Sing along to the famous song as your mine cart rocks to and fro, and don’t forget to wave to Snow White at the end of the ride!
The Ride
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train combines a classic but smooth coaster with part Disney dark ride to create a memorable and fun experience. We keep mentioning the smoothness of this attraction because it is truly like no other roller coaster you have been on. Because the ride vehicle can rock side to side, they compensate for the turns and dips during the ride, eliminating any “whipping”. This makes Seven Dwarfs Mine Train more accessible to guests of varying abilities.

Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train Ride Vehicle
It is important to note that while the ride itself is more accessible, the ride vehicles certainly are not. The ride vehicles feel pretty snug for adults. Be sure to talk to a Cast Member if you have any concerns, but we can absolutely guarantee that there will be ample thigh touching with your neighbor.
The Queue
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train continues to have some of the longest wait times in Magic Kingdom, but there are ways to bypass them. Your options for minimal wait times are rope drop, jumping into line right as the park closes, and of course, pay to skip the line with a Lightning Lane Single Pass reservation.
If you choose to wait in the standby line, just know that it is almost completely outdoors. In this case, the queue being outdoors is not a bad thing!
The outdoor queue at Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is mostly shaded and there are fans on posts throughout, but the reason we say it’s good is because you can eat!
Walt Disney World has no rules against eating or drinking in line as long as you are in the outdoor portion of a queue. If you know you’re in the long haul for a 60-75 minute wait, show up with a full lunch from Cosmic Rays and an ice cream sundae from Storybook Treats!
Height Requirement
Guests must be at least 38 inches tall to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
Rider Swap
Rider Swap is available for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Just speak with a Cast Member at the entrance, and they’ll help set up Rider Swap so that everyone in your party who meets the height requirement can enjoy this rollicking journey through the mine.
Accessibility
Guests using wheelchairs or ECVs must transfer to the ride vehicle to experience Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The queue is accessible, and Cast Members are available to assist with boarding if needed.
