Peter Pan’s Flight is practically an opening day attraction (it opened 2 days later), and it is just as popular now as it was back in 1971!

Located in Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom, this attraction is a classic family-friendly dark ride.
Beware – if Peter Pan’s Flight is on your must-do list for your Magic Kingdom day, you should consider purchasing Genie+, or plan to rope drop and do this ride ASAP. While the ride clocks in at 2 minutes, the standby wait time is at least 60 minutes!
The Queue
Peter Pan’s Flight is one case where the queue is just as much fun as the ride itself! Back in 2015, Disney reimagined the queue for one of the park’s most popular rides. Since the ride maintains long lines and has such a tight queue, Imagineers decided to create a fun, interactive experience!
When you wait in the standby line you will walk through the Darling’s home and even the nursery! Do you see Tinkerbell? She’s flying around the nursery. Our favorite element is the interactive silhouette screen that will “capture” your shadow!
While there is more room than there was previously and it is a fully air conditioned queue, it’s important to note that this area is still very tight and enclosed. You cannot see outside, and there are no quick and easy exits.
The Ride
Peter Pan’s Flight is the perfect family friendly attraction with no height requirements, and even infants and pregnant women can ride. The vehicles are roomy with just a lap bar that comes down, so there is not too much restriction. These ships can easily fit 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 children.
The ride will take you from the Darling’s home, over London, and off to Neverland! Off we go! Peter Pan’s Flight is a slow and smooth attraction with classic Disney blacklight painted scenes, but it is important to note that you will be suspended 30 feet in the air. Come on, all you need to take off is faith, trust, and pixie dust!
Height Requirement
There is no height requirement for Peter Pan’s Flight, making it a magical adventure for guests of all ages!
Rider Swap
Rider Swap is not offered for this attraction. With its gentle pace and enchanting scenes, it’s a great ride for families to experience together.
Accessibility
Guests using wheelchairs or ECVs must transfer to the ride vehicle to experience Peter Pan’s Flight. The queue is accessible, and Cast Members are available to assist with boarding if needed.
More About Lightning Lane Multi Pass
Peter Pan’s Flight is so popular that it is unlikely to appear in your list of available Lightning Lanes during your day in the park. The best chance to score a Lightning Lane is to make it one of your selections during your pre-arrival selection period. Remember, you can make your first 3 selections for your reserved park 7 days prior if you are a Disney Resort Guest (or Shades of Green guest) or 3 days if you are not. This is the time to choose either the most popular ride in the park, or your absolute must-do attraction.
