Shades of Green Resort Express Cafe Review

The Express Cafe is a great place to grab a quick breakfast while on the run to Walt Disney World’s theme parks.

The Cafe  conveniently located right on the way to Shades of Green’s theme park bus loading area.

You can grab a to-go breakfast right on your way! Note: no open food is allowed on the buses.

The Cafe is open 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., Daily.

To find the Cafe, go out the front lobby doors and down the stairs by the waterfall, you’ll see the doors to the express Café in front of you. Continue through the cafe to the bus stop.

The #1 draw for SoG dining is lower price. In exchange for lower price you get lower quality, especially at Mangino’s and Garden Gallery. The convenience of the Java and Express Cafe’s is wonderful and you get great value. The friendliness and attentiveness of all dining staff is also great.

“Miss the old crew at Express, they were fun to talk to, but did enjoy the new update and service was good.”

Note: For many years the Express Cafe was run by a contractor that Shades of Green hired. A couple years ago the contract ended and was not renewed. The location was renovated at that time and reopened with Shades of Green employees.

How-To: Grab-and-Go Breakfast Before Your Shades of Green Bus

1. Head out early (6:00–7:30 a.m.). Rope-drop mornings are busiest.
2. From the lobby: exit front doors → go down waterfall stairs → enter Express Cafe.
3. Order to-go (wraps, pastries, coffee), pay, and pack it up.
4. Finish before boarding. No open food is allowed on buses.
5. Continue through the cafe to the bus stop, and you’re on your way.
