Hi Steve
I hope this is the right place to ask a question. I was having a hard time navigating back to the original page I was on.
My husband is a veteran and has a 100% service connected disability. We have never used the discounted Disney tickets before and I am trying to understand it all. He will be unable to attend Disney with myself and my children and I understand he would need the proper ID to activate the tickets when we get to Disneyland…with a spouse ID am I able to attend without him and activate the tickets. Also I have been told he needs a specific ID that states his 100% disability status is that correct?
If you are able would you also please direct me to where I can read up on how to Make reservations on Disneyland’s website with the tickets once we have them?
Thank you so much for your time,
Ashley Tober
Hi Ashley,
As long as you have a retired military spouse ID you will be all set. Spouses can activate Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets in place of the member.
We are kind of in a gray area for the 100% ID as the military has stopped putting DAVPRM on the new IDs. But as a 100% DAPRM he should just have a retired ID, which it sounds like he does.
For making reservations, Disney keeps changing the process and what the screens look like, but check out this post for the basics. It’s failry easy and the Disneyland site or app will walk oyu right through it.
