While the military community waits to see if there will be Special Military Discounted Disney Tickets for all of 2021, Walt Disney World is silent and Ticket Sales have Stopped!

Updated 5 Feb 2021
As of February Second Many Base Ticket Offices have stopped selling 2020 Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets. Shades of Green has stopped selling them long distance, but is still selling them in person to those who are on property and need them.
As a reminder Disney extended the sales of 2020 Salute Tickets from 19 December 2020 through 14 February 2021, with the ability to use these tickets through late September 2021.
Rumors have been floating that Disney would announce a new more expensive 2021 Salute Ticket in prior to the 14th.
Shades of Green has informed me that 2021 Salute Ticket Sales will begin on 15 February!
No prices have been announced, but as I’ve stated several times before, expect the new 2021 tickets to be more expensive!
Eligibility for the Salute Tickets will remain the same as always and remember that if you were able to purchase any 2020 Salute Tickets during the truncated extension (19 Dec 2020 – 2 Feb 2021), those will count towards any limit Disney sets for the 2021 Salute Tickets.
As noted, Disney has been silent. I have reached out for comment and heard nothing back.
It is evident however that Disney has finally decided to offer 2021 Salute tickets at a higher price point; and that they do not want anyone to be able to buy them any longer at the 2020 price.
Stay tuned for prices and limits when they become available.
UPDATE:
I’ve received intel indicating that for 2021 the available Salute Tickets will be Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus, there will be 4-day and 5-day tickets (no 6-day like we had in 2020). And it looks like roughly $30 more per ticket over the 2020 price.

FYI, the MWR at Fort Leavenworth, KS has a limited supply that they are still selling.

Hmmmmm, I wonder what will happen to my order form? I sent through Shades of Green email, it was accepted, they were suppose to get to me within 5 to 7 days for me to purchase Dw Tickets? I’m on day 4.
I’d give them a call Wendy.

Wendy,
I sent my order form to Shades of Green on 1/28/21. I just received a call to process my order. I was wondering if my order would be fulfilled or held. I hope you hear from them soon.
I purchased 6 tickets in December for our vacation scheduled for September 19-25, I was sending form today to get 2 more needed from Shades of Green. So, that will be denied? Will I be able to even get 2 more when they go on sale later? We are a family of 8 traveling.
Hi Janice,
What date in Dec did You buy them? I matters.
The 3rd
Awesome, so you bought your 6 under the original 2020 purchase window. These in no way effect your 2021 purchase ability.
So you may buy up to the limit allowed for 2021 tickets (presumably 6 based on Disney’s eventual announcement).
Thanks for all your great info! We are excited for this trip with grandkids and are using Ears of Experience for planning! They have been awesome!
Awesome Janice, thanks!
This is hopeful good news – anxiously waiting for our October trip! Maybe will be lucky enough to get them from Shades in Green in person later this month.
I can confirm Ft Leavenworth is still selling these (as of 1550 Central time 4 Feb). The lady up there is very friendly and helpful!
We are going to DW in March and have sent my email to S of Green to get park tickets and haven’t got a reply. We live in Oregon and aren’t near a base, any guidance to get our tix purchased? We are waiting for this last step to reserve our time at the parks
HI Jeannie,
Disney has halted the sales of 2020 Disney Armed Forces Salute Tickets. The 2021s will be going on sale the 15th, so you’ll have to wait till then.
We have Military Salute tickets from March. We are planning a trip.over Christmas. Do you think the new tickets will cover over the holiday?
Hi Janet,
Sorry they don’t: https://www.militarydisneytips.com/blog/disney-armed-forces-salute/2021-walt-disney-world-armed-forces-salute-ticket-announcement/
We have 9 kids, 7 of them are 3 to 13. We always go in October. We go to the gates and buy the tickets since it’s more than the 6 tickets allowed. With the reservations do you know if there’s a loop hole without driving 16 hours to Disney just to buy tickets now ?
Hi Savanna,
About a year back Disney advised me the new way they wanted folks in your situation to proceed is to try to work with your local Ticket Office.
I updated my post for large families with some thoughts: https://www.militarydisneytips.com/blog/faq/i-need-more-than-6-disney-armed-forces-salute-tickets-what-can-i-do/
Doing it this way will allow you to get those park reservations.
